Need help in college with a power point presentation/essay

Hi I need to make a 10 page word or 20 slides in powerpoint with the title ,,The Importance of Telecommunications in the shipping/maritime transport''.
What should I do? I have no idea what to write
Can you guys help me? Do you have someone who works in the navy?

My parents are too uneducated to give me an answer.I used the internet but I only found military electronics in the navy which is something else!
