***While My Guitar June-tly Weeps LC Thread***
Noice title. Weird that it's June already. Time is flying particularly quickly this year.
The older you get, each year becomes a smaller slice of your life.
Let Hell begin.
Should it piss me off when I click on a new thread and it takes me to the new site? I think so.
interesting...straight to the old for me
'when any kink in your day can easily warp the arc of your story' is a beautiful line
son we see no sign zenosyne is something other than what noted honorary intellectual gen x echo chamber musicians play in mobius time
but what the gist of quoting this video achieves is exposing the achilles heel of our deep dependence on the wax industry and the way it wicks money away from what could otherwise be applied toward the ideal hillbilly cream cheese frosting market
sincere apologies
in my family growing up we counted ages by the number of birthday rocks sewn into the waist band of your pants
of course the swift river crossing still must be achieved every year

Definitely annoying. They had an icon that told you before you clicked for awhile but have apparently done away with it. Max posted a video in the mod forum a few days ago that has me willing to give it another shot maybe, but there are still a few things that need fixin' first.
We're only half way done?

No. Dr. Meh should be publicly shamed for starting a thread on the new forum.
It's not so much that the new look is good or bad. It's that the developers didn't separate
The data displayed (i.e., users, posts, join dates, whatever) should be completely independent of how it is viewed. Go to the database, gather up the information that is to be displayed, then ship it in the context of the current viewer's preference.
The 2 deal breakers for me so far are No way to view my subscribed threads, which is really all I look at unless I'm really bored, then I may browse around. They also for some reason haven't linked/merged the PM inboxes.
A new feature that I really liked though, is the ability to select a portion of a post and right click to quote just that part. Much easier than quoting then deleting all the irrelevant fluff from the quoted post. They've also made it visually much closer to what we have here.
anyone else missing the spoiler button when you try to quote a post?
Yeah I guess I could type all that business but who wouldnt rather hit a button
tru dat
how many times can you fold your life in half
once a year...
Commenters who live in Vegas - do you ever get to the strip to meet other posters who are visiting? Just curious as I'll be in town in August.
