Heard a report while driving around the continent that Chuck E. Cheese is starting adult places. All the games, with alcohol, but without crappy pizza, animatronic music, and children.

Sounds kinda like Dave & Buster's to me, IDK.

Follow-up question, though: assuming the caption is well-written, why do children who would be of the age to enjoy Chuck E. Cheese have credit cards?

I don't think busting the mascot is the right play if the company has been stealing credit cards.

I guess everyone just reads hyperbolic headlines and makes up their own narrative?

A single employee stole a CC from a customer (not a child). He was later arrested at work while wearing the costume.

Why do cops hate people in costumes?

Jealousy. It puts theirs to shame.

I have a hard time believing those photos aren't staged. NFW they are leaving that mascot head on him during the arrest. They'd never fit him in the back of the cruiser, for one thing, but mostly they'd remove it to get positive ID and make sure he doesn't have anything stashed in there.

Perhaps a Trojan Mouse transporting contraband into the local jail?
