I agree. I don't have any double numbers this time, but it seems as if those damn things should earn a nominal bonus every time regulation or an OT period ends in a tie on that number.

Perhaps the guy running the board should finance this little quirk as it seems unfair that those don't get paid somehow 😉

Rather than giving any extra money, I got stuck with 20% of the double numbers. 0/0 and 5/5 should be hitting this tourney, tho.

I don't see how they could lose!

Alternatively, by acclamation we could "allow" the sponsor to buy all the double numbers before we seed the board 😃

Had a brain fart moment thinking how's it possible for 7,7 to win if it's FT score including OT

Then I realised it could be 107-97, 97-87 etc etc lol me

there is sum nothing different between looser and loser

I think someone mentions this every year - and sometimes I have to explain how it's possible. Good job figuring that out yourself. Lol

Last year, 3-3, 5-5, and 7-7 all hit once each in the squares pool.

Since this isn't the NFL, I'm now guaranteed to get like 0-0, 7-0, 7-3 and 3-0 for my squares.

2 sets of doubles in 4 squares is not ideal

I completely missed the board was already created.

And I did get 7-0. Lol. I wonder how much worse the doubles are since that takes out any close game scores.

Doubles are more likely in early rounds, where blowouts are more likely. 1 seeds, 2 seeds, etc. They are more likely to have a big score differential in the first and maybe second rounds.

Congratulations. You beat the odds.

Looking forward to the random PayPal payments in the coming weeks.

I have no plans to watch even 5 minutes of the tournament.

Only 1 payment, for cumulative winnings, once the tournament is complete. Just fyi.

One seems optimistic.

At least I didn't waste my powerful 0-8 in the First Four. Let's go!

TCU is the first to advance, winning 66-64, and E.G. gets the first square win!

Nebraska wins 76-47, beating Troy like a little brother, and giving CC - Brother a square win!

High Point with the first big upset, 83-82 over Wisconsin. I'm sure RedeYeS00 isn't upset to get a square win, tho!

Louisville survives a crazy late push from USF to win 83-79, and POGcrazy94 gets the square win!

Duke survives the upset bid by Sienna and wins 71-65, and RED_FIL survives with a square win!

RED_WED has half of RED_FILs action
happy spouse, happy house

Vandy couldn't throw in a meaningless two on their last possession?

Also, wrong purple Panthers won. Not that I care about Wisconsin, but I'm always cheering for the MVC rep to make some noise. It doesn't happen a lot.
