Netflix "Watch Instantly"

Netflix "Watch Instantly"

I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream a movie over the internet. The selection of movies/shows is subpar, but it's free baby! Well, free as in no extra charge. You can watch 1 hour for every dollar/month your subscription is and it doesn't affect your queued/shipped movies at all. Minuses are that you have to be running Windows and Internet Explorer, but the quality is great! I have a garbage laptop, but it looks the same as a DVD to me and it hasn't skipped/paused/hiccuped once so far.

Severance off to a good season 2 start.

Many of my friends watch this but I don't get what's the appeal.

thank you ... finally someone.

was afraid to say something, bc it seems i'm the only one who doesnt like it.
tried it twice, but really didn't appeal to me at all ... no idea why, may be i'm missing something

its mystery and the setting that appeals.

it feels very 90s/early 00s.

Prime Target on Apple is decent and I will finish it, but I have seen some reviews from people that saw it all saying it's not that great.

Conspiracy thriller about prime numbers.

Is it safe to assume you didn’t make it to the penultimate episode of season 1?

FWIW my all-time favorite TV shows are The Wire, Breaking Bad and Sopranos and I feel the final two episodes of Severance are every bit their equal.

As an aside my wife didn’t feel as strongly.

It struck a chord with me.

Severance continues to be so good.

Severance continues to be so good.

Love to hear this. I’m on a rewatch of season 1 (finished ep 7 tonight). I’m enjoying it just as much as the first time around.

Wanted it to be fresh in my mind before starting the second season.

With Severance, The Pitt and The Agency, we’ve been eating well so far this year. Dexter isn’t nearly as bad as I expected and Yellowjackets is back in a few weeks as well.

And on an even better note, Shoresy season 4 comes back tonight!! In a way lol

Yea, The Pitt episode tonight was a little flat but otherwise I like it. Looking forward to Dexter tonight and The Agency tomorrow. The Night Agent season 2 is back today also and The Recruit season 2 next week.

I just did a Scrubs rewatch and started The Pitt right after, so it fit quite well with my state of mind lol

Another solid overall Dexter. Only minor gripe is there was no point in the severed arm showing up if the solution was going to be so easy.

LFG! Looks awesome.

Wow, Night Agent season 2 episode 1was was really bad. Odd, after the first season was quite enjoyable.

Without spoiling I thought they really stepped it up in this episode with the ending twist.

The arm thing was a bit silly but then if Dexter had to deal with that it would have taken the focus off of the main plot.

It doesn't get better.

Paradise on Hulu is good. They did early release of episode 1 and episodes 2 and 3 are tonight at 9pm PST.

Big reveal at the end of 1. Sterling K Brown and James Marsden.

For the people here that have been watching The Agency but have also watched The Bureau would I be fine just jumping into season 2 of The Bureau or would you recommend watching a couple of episodes to be more familiar with the characters?

I'm assuming The Agency is basically an exact remake

i'd say watch the bureau from the start, bc it's just ****ing great.
sure, you can hop into season 2, but you simply miss a lot of great stuff, great acting, etc.
and the characters really develop over time, not just Malotru, but also the new girl that goes overseas etc.

My mind was somewhat blown when I discovered that the main guy in American Primeval was Riggins in Friday Night Lights

Has anyone who watched Le Bureau managed to watch the Agency and enjoy it?

I’m certain it’s a good show but can it be enjoyed without comparing it to the original?

I feel there has been like 20 posts on this ; if you scroll up a few pages you will get to them

Severance: s2e2 delivered. Excited to see what’s in store for the rest of the season.

I’m also not sure if I want a 3rd season or not. I hope it’s ends while it’s still high quality.

I just finished the 2nd season of Squid Games.. WTF? How can you end it like that?

Up to the end, I thought it was a worthy successor to season 1.
