New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

So 8-10 times total?
That's admirable restraint for a young fella!
Attn: McDonalds brought back the fried apple pie.
30+ years ago, as a McDonald's employee, my go-to breaktime snack was a lava hot apple pie topped with a caramel sundae.
Checker's/Rally's is trying to convince me that $1/wing (half wing?) is a good deal. Thru the app or online only...

Birthday month for yours truly, and I've already got offers from Habit, RB's, Portillo's, Hawaiian Bros, Culvers and Ikea (if I can use the $10 reward at the cafeteria? I may try this weekend)
Gonna be eatin good for a couple of weeks, at least.
Me too!
No Krispy Kreme, Red Robin or Golden Corral?
Me three! Cancer gang rise up.
The $10 off $10 or more order from Ikea e-mail also includes free cake! Woot woot!
And slways free coffee
I finally tried Raising Cane's. I'd rate it 7/10. The food was solid, fast, and hot. 3 tender combo + sandwhich was $20, so also decent value. Cane's sauce was good. But if you gave me the option, I'd probably choose Dave's, Bojangles, CFA, and Zaxby's over it, partly because each one offers more variety and partly because I think the chicken is better prepared from a flavor standpoint at those establishments.
yeah Raising Cane's is really nothing special.
Basically it Doesn't raise my tastebuds enough to go back.
smh
And somehow the fried Apple Pie is less calories than the baked Apple Pie it replaced.
I could swear they just "fried" the normal baked pie. I didn't get the OG molten crispy experience, maybe it was a dud?
The fried chicken at QFC/kroger has been pretty good last couple of days. I grab a breast for like $3, add a couple sides (fries, green beans, fridge section mac n cheese) was a good meal!
Boars head club from qfc / kroger. $10. It's actually a really good sandwich which would probably go for $16 in a casino or restaurant
I'm in!
