New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

McDonald's Coca-Cola often tastes better due to a combination of factors related to storage, preparation, and equipment. McDonald's follows specific guidelines from Coca-Cola, including using stainless steel tanks for syrup storage, pre-chilling the syrup and water, and maintaining a high carbonation level. Additionally, McDonald's uses filtered water and a slightly wider straw to enhance the drinking experience.
Krispy Kreme has BOGO for $.88 dozens today...
When you order any dozen doughnuts at the regular price on Friday, July 18, you can get a second dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts for 88 cents. Drove across most of Saskatchewan and Manitoba the last few days. Only saw on Mary Brown's chicken (in Moose Jaw), and it wasn't mealtime, so couldn't do research for the thread. I am disappoint.
7-8 years ago I discovered a hack in the Rick's App where you could add a patty to a QP to make it a Double at no extra cost and it remained for at least 3 months. I was friendly with the assistant manager at my local Rick's who had to know what was going on, heck he probably did the hack himself for his own meals.
I did not dare post about it on 2p2 because I wanted to see how long the hack would last, and it did for at least 3 months. 3 glorious Double QPC months.
Rude.
McRicks is awesome at enforcing pricing on specials at their stores. So good I went there three times over the weekend, probably a new PB.
Thursday: The food options in Granite falls are limited. The local IGA grocery store, usually a good brand to bet on, had rediculous prices for their hot deli items - $8-10 for a 5" meatball sandwich, $7/lb salads, a weak as hell looking hot china deli. $7 for a two piece fried chicken with a couple of sides... Last time I ran these it was bad
I check McRicks, my trusty daily double special is available for $7. Deal!
Friday I'm back in town. The free fries friday suckered me in.
Sunday: Free McChicken with purchase sucks me in again.
Bonus: I have 12 mcnuggets ready for the air fryer. I save those for later.
