New fast food discussion/review thread

I still weep over Souplanation/Sweet Tomatoes.

There are now a couple clones. But the lines are long and they charge about $25 for a salad.

I got my free Habit burger on Friday. Didn't look like that fortunately. I need to get the rings by themselves instead of the rings and fries combo. They have a roasted cauliflower side at the moment that looked good.

Reviewbrah doing the lords work, a firm thumbs down to the chicken mac.

TLDR; big mac sauce needs beef to work with; chicken is too bland, just tastes like mac sauce

Which chicken do they use on them? Doesn't look like the cheap mcchicken patty nor the patty they use on the mccrispy. Looks kinda like a combo of the two.

I think it is two mcchicken pattys. And the mac sauce works great with them.

I had Mary Brown's Chicken for 1st time, chicken and taters with gravy and it was good, like crazy expensive though.

Mary browns amazing chicken sando is $5 on Mondays, so I just go then.

Chicken mac is solid, the patties taste like giant mcnuggets. it's not a mcchicken patty.

hey you canadians, this is the first time i've heard of mary brown's and i'm intrigued. might have to look one up next time i'm in BC. can you compare it to something like popeye's, kfc, or the ghost of kenny rogers roasters?

I compared it to the golden days of KFC myself, We got there before dinner rush and our order was ready super quick which we were worried about, but nope it was super hot and all good!

I have not had Popeye's yet so can't compare.

I just got a chicken big mac by accident OR on purpose cuz i was nice to the assistant manager. lol

I ordered a $5 mcchicken meal + free big mac with app deal (day after jets sack QB get a free big mac w $2 purchase).

Guy brings out my bag with the right number. It has a chicken big mac in it.. I look in the bag and lift up the burger big mac. I begin to say something and he says “thats a big mac”. I say okay and take my food lol.

My bounty:

Small hamburger
Chicken big mac
6 pc nuggets
Big mac
Small fries

Chicken big mac was good. Id say 7.75/10.

Switching to unsweetened ice tea from coke was 20 cent upcharge.

The manager did see me open the door for a group of people and be very kind to them. So maybe he's like you know what? this guy's getting hooked up.

The Chicken Big Mac is definitely worth getting for Science if anyone is at all hesitant. McMuffin says you shouldn't be disappointed either.

Never had KRR but my understanding is that it's brined for at least 24hrs beforehand so super juicy and flavourful. Light crispy batter. Nothing else like it and for my tastes better than anything else on the market.

Has anyone tried the Chipotle Smoked Brisket? It's around for a limited time.

Normally I'm happy to get Chicken.. which I see a price of $11.35 while the Smoked Brisket is $15.20.

However, here's the twist.. through 10/28 Chipotle is offering me free chips and a side. That's the rub. That's how they get ya.

This weekend I may have some time.. and gosh darnit I'm going to get the Smoked Brisket for SCIENCE!

Traveling thru Las Cruces on my way East. Pretty good value at $5.40 with free refills.
