Ask me anything about being a (recovering) germaphobe

I wanted to celebrate recently hitting 1000 posts on 2+2, so like others before me I’ll use the occasion to venture into AMA territory.

In my case, I've spent more than half of my 43 years as a pretty serious (but still functional) germaphobe. And in the last nearly two years I've actually seen a behaviorist to try and conquer (or at least curb) the symptoms/causes.

I’m happy to answer any questions you have about this, whether to talk about how it’s affected my life (dating, getting married, raising kids, professional life, leisure), to give tips to aspiring germaphobes, or to discuss what I've done in working with my behaviorist.

Fire away!

Oh, and in before anyone asks if I’m David Puddy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsC8sKIZj...)........
