What would you do...
I am 73, in good health and have no responsibilities. My kids are grown and doing well (not married, thus no grandkids). I am selling my house and when all bill are paid and the smoke clears, I'll have about $100k. Not much for my age, but got wiped put when real estate went down the tubes so this is it. College grad, 4 years in Navy and totally unafraid to take a chance. I do gamble a little and do ok (slightly ahead over 6+ years only because of self-discipline, money management and luck). What would you do? Again, I'm healthy, and looking for my next project/adventure...

I just thought that I would update my "Orange Grave" situation.
We replanted in 4/23 and everything rocked along ok until the trees
were sprayed (by mistake) with a contaminant that stunts their growth.
Well, we are now involved with the manufacturers, the packing company the insurance agency, and high priced attorneys in an attempt to reach a settlement or we'll sue them.
It's quite a mess and everything is at a standstill.
Do I throw more money at the situation in hopes of improving the trees chance of survival (which will actually help the defenses case) or not.
PS - there are quite a few of us South GA farmers involved in this, and we have a good attorney, but we are fighting a tough battle and are unfortunately "out lawyered" so we'll do the best we can and live with the results.
I don't want to say much more, but just wanted to update this situation since y'all have been supportive in the past...
Whatever you do red,
Don’t ask Nima for advice.
Best of luck pal.
