LHE ICM spot

This is the second hand of LHE, so hero and the competing short stack will have to pay the blinds twice.

I'm no expert in ICM, but for just a 30% pay jump, I'm not going to be trying to fold my way to 4th place.

But I wouldn't be opening too light, just because the bigger stacks are apt to be defending their BB more than usual.

So, what is the bottom of your range?

I'd guess something like qts+.

And Hero might adjust the bottom of opening range to play tighter if he thinks he has skill advantage over utg, or any of the other players aren't playing optimal.

Folding smaller pairs (22-44?) and weaker ax could be fine.

I could see k7s / k9o being close.

A9o seems like a standard open to me.
