Has Anybody Here Ever Played Sap Sam Cheung?

According to Sergey & Co, Sap Sam Cheung is the original version of Chinese Poker.

It's also know as 十三弡 which literally translates to 13 cards (according to my masseuse, who is Manderin)

I'm wondering if anyone has ever played the original version. Chinese is one of my favorite games, but I can never seem to get action for it online and only play with friends.

I believe its a descendant of Pai Gow, which is were the splitting hands comes from.

Any information or reference material is welcome!

Dzieki!

There is a book from a long time ago that you might want to get:
https://gamblersbookclub.com/chinese-poker-535.html

Does that book have an ISBN?

Trying to order it from the website, but the website's purchase process, um, leaves something to be desired....
