2-7 dramaha 87543
Hi all,
20/40 mix 2-7 dramaha we are dealt 87543 and 3! on button an ep open and mp call. Sb 4! they call and we cap. Everyone calls.
Flop JJ4r. Checks to us we bet sb check raises, a cold call from ep mp folds we raise again they both call. Sb pats ep draws 3 mp draws 1 we pat.
Turn K. Checks to us we bet sb calls ep check raises mp folds we raise again sb calls ep calls.
River T. checks to us we bet they call. Is this hand played ok or did I put too many bets in with my exact holding? Should I be worried the sb has a better low when he pats?
Thanks,
DT

Possibly turn just call C/R as you have worst 8, would be expected that EP usually has a nutted high, and SB would be hard pressed to continue with nine lows or worse
Tough to say as there is a great variance in how people view their hands but that is point I think you possibly started overplaying.

Pardon me, you donβt have the worst 8 but itβs close.
Yes, the turn is the point where you probably should slow down. When ep check-raises, they are pretty close to 100% going for high and have you beat. If the sb has a better low, you are never getting him to fold. And if he has a worse low, your 3-bet could easily get him to fold, and now you're not chopping him up anymore. However, if sb and ep check the river, I agree with your betting for value. Even though I'm guessing sb had you notched here, as people rarely post hands like this when they win. ;-)
