In my senior year of HS our fresh out of college history teacher came in one day with hickeys all on her neck. I'm not sure how she had the guts to walk into a classroom with a bunch of boys that age with only a turtleneck sweater to try to hide them. She was shown no mercy at all.
Good point. Maybe it is. That would make as much sense as anything.
Don't sleep on the Delerium Noel Christmas beer (although you might sleep afterward)
nocturnum an appropriate mention in this context
Curse you guys! You got me interested enough to check them out online. They sound delicious, so I started trying to find out where they are available near me. Dr Google tells me the closest place is > 200 miles away. Grr!
This is why I tip in cash almost exclusively. People have no idea how bad tipping in card is. Very bad.
You sure you didn't tip $300? Like you forgot the decimal point, perhaps.
It's showing up correctly on my CC account online.
I did have to enter three digits on the keypad, so you gave me a brief scare, but I'm sure they don't expect all Waffle House patrons to tip only in whole dollar amounts.
are they still siphoning fees off if you use your apple/google pay or an atm card?
Got a notification from my CC a while back. Paid most of the bill with a gift card, then had $7-ish left on the tab.
Of course, tipped on the real amount, so CC company asked if I really meant to tip $6 on a $7 bill (or whatever the numbers were, something similar).
Not at the doohickey though, this was in email later on.
Don't know if this belongs in the piss me off but shouldn't thread but the handheld credit card machine that restaurants are using generally provides three choices for the tip with the center choice the recommended choice.
Most places show something like 18 20 23 with 20 the center choice.
A couple show 20 25 29. WTF? No tipping derail here but I find it annoying that they want me to tip 25 percent.
they also have a red but i suggest skipping it..it's ok but not great.
Yeah, I'd have a hard time trying more than a couple of different ones on my drive back home.
