My worst best ever
This only happened a day or two ago and I've just come here to share the story because it's my worst beat ever.
To set the scene, playing a live 5/10 cash game with 6 total players at the table.
Hero is in the big blind with about 120 BBs, villain is on the button. Hero has pocket 4s, 4 of spades with 4 of clubs.
Pre-flop it folds round to the villain who bets standard raise, small blind folds and I just elect to call.
Flop comes 4 4 5, so 4 of hearts 4 of diamonds and 5 of diamonds. Perfect quads for me! I decided to check to trap later, and the villain makes a c bet for about half pot and hero just calls.
Turn comes the Ace of hearts. Even better I thought! Now I'm praying they have Ax or even AA. Again, villain continues to bet and I just call.
River comes a seemingly inconsequential 3 of hearts. I think a bit about whether to bet or to check and raise. Decided to check just praying they bet, and they did bet half the pot. I waited 10/15 seconds to act and shiver all in for 120BBs effective.
Villain snap calls and turns over 2 5 of hearts for a straight flush, crushing my quad 4s and leaving me contemplating what just happened.
This game can be so brutal at times.

Well that sucks!
standard fold river.
Losing runner-runner .. and in this case perfect-perfect are the worst beats, even worse than one-outers.
Next time I would raise the Turn bet .. You very easily could have an Ace or pick up a flush draw yourself. It's difficult to get a Player to bet Flop, Turn and River. In this spot here you win zero more chips if they miss the River, but they may be willing to call a raise on the Turn. GL
Bad news - no bad beT jackpot.
Good news - you only lost 120 bbs.
