How to play 10-10off - sit and go

I was on the button with **10-10**. UTG opened with a raise of 3 big blinds, and I 3-bet to 9 big blinds. Both the big blind and UTG called. The flop came **9-8-4**. The big blind checked, and UTG bet 18 big blinds into a pot of around 27 big blinds. We all had 50 big blinds in total.

I decided to go all-in, but UTG called with **8-8**, which gave them a set on the flop. I ended up losing the hand.

Could I play in different way?
