Is it time to just call it quits?
I started taking poker seriously this month, I put in money on my GG account for enough for 20 or so buyins on PLO10. I have been learning preflop plays, watching videos and watching live streams. Although I'm obviously not the best I feel I understand some deep concepts why players do what they do, especially from watching veni and jnandez on YouTube. Somehow my graph just doesn't reflect I'm even a breakeven player. I play mainly just zoom tables

Reasons not to call it quits:
- You haven't played a meaningful sample yet.
- The rake on GG is pretty high, which of course affects your win rate/loss rate.
- Fast fold games are usually tougher than regular tables.
- PLO is high variance.
I suggest checking out BGQ and the PLO subforum for tips and ideas to get better. In any case, you should have better bankroll management. 20 BI is way too low.
Yes
I would consider buying a PLO course from somewhere. I know RIO has one for $150. Not sure if other sites have affordable options.
Hey bro. I wouldn't call it quits just because you lost your first deposit, man. If you are just now starting out learning seriously, maybe just move down to a 2 dollar or 5 dollars buy in for a month or two so you aren't losing as much when you are first getting a feel for the game. That way you can try the new things you are learning and apply those concepts to your play slowly,, without you having to think about losing any real money. You can't expect to be absolutely crushing at first, even if you are naturally talented at it! Check out Phil Galfond, along with the guys you are watching. I play NLHE and he has mental game videos that really helped me out, he's a PLO specialist and has some hand reviews he does on his channel.
