Conclusion:
Life is a journey. Growth occurs in the times of which you take on the most pain and stress. Always take on more pain then you think you can handle if you wish to grow the most. I plan on getting to 175-180~ lbs working out. I plan on playing ALOT OF LIVE NEXT YEAR AND SECURING A MILLION DOLLAR BINK TO TOP THIS THREAD OFF. Wrote this post and cameback cause i found the progress to be therapeutic and documenting will be something i look back on fondly. Brothers adjusting well and going to gym with me he just reached unreal in Fortnite. I still do plan on leaving full time grinding in the coming 18-24 month~ assuming things go to plan. Currently Focusing on Consciousness and being present well playing. Ill see you all around late june for a update.

Welcome back Beez! I have enjoyed your thread immensely and have read through it several times. I know you have struggled with back pain for quite some time. I myself am in a lot of pain. Could you describe what has worked for you in regards to relieving your back pain? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you and I wish you continued success with poker.
Nice update. Do you try and be strategic about managing the risks of a decently big losing year and not being able to carry losses forward tax wise? That seems like one of the more annoying risks of being an mtt pro especially if firing a bunch of live 10k/25ks.

I make alot of rakeback+live in a regulated fenced in pool + grind alot of volume so those allow me to reduce the stress on that end of things. [I estimate i make 100-150 a year variance free]

"It is not the mountain ahead that stops most journeys but the pebble in ones shoe."
I've finally self educated enough and am in the full process of removing the pain in my back and leg. I now strength train 4x/week + stretch 6x-7x/week. Soon adding in yoga and cardio. I recommend if your motivated by my success in poker you take physical health serious. Physical health>financial success.
Cliffnotes about stretching/strength training:
Stretching increases pain tolerance!
Muscle building increases pain tolerance!
You have a thin web layering your skin called fascia fascia can become tight and responds/reworks itself when you stretch/muscles... fascia tells your body whether you should feel pain or not.
Routine: Monday/tuesday/wednesday/friday/saturday~
Wake up 12:00
Stretch 12:30-1:30 [Run hrc/icm sims during this time]
1:30-2:00 cook breakfast
2-3:00 Study Postflop spots i'm targeting [flop/turn, Deepstack, Bvb.... etc]
3:00-5:00 Gym
7:30-1 play poker
1-2 stretch/study/chill
Thursday/sunday
12-12 play
12-1 [stretch]
1-2 study [or wait till next day depending on energy level I try to study atleast every 2-3 days and spend a hour cleaning up past days]
Stretches: Strongly recommend you try the hip flexor one

THE FINAL JUMP
"It is not the mountain ahead that stops most journeys but the pebble in ones shoe."
"Theory of marginal improvements,if you replace each part of a boat is it the same boat?" The theory states consistent small changes cause an inability to see the past product and only the new.
"Measure twice, cut once."

Be able to run 3 miles in under 18 mins [i've never ran a sub 6 min mile or 2 miles]
Have no back pain.
Start a meditation/yoga practice [2x/weekly]
Play a triton.

Put in 400 hours to poker study in 2025.
Explore other career/life options.
The Blueprint:
Thank you everyone for reading and following this thread up to this point. My next update will be when I have finished fixing my leaks.
-BeezGamble
I am not finished. I still need to study, fix my back, and finish business.
Philosphy:
Kaizen-Kaizen is a philosophy of continuous improvement through small, incremental changes, focusing on efficiency, process improvement, and sustained progress in personal or organizational growth.
"Just as steady drops of water carve through mountains over time, consistency triumphs over fleeting bursts of intensity."
Current beliefs for me are that. Consistency matters extremely, 60 mins study blocks 2-3x/day is better then 5 hours straight. I do think when coming up you need 5-hour blocks but as you mature less is more. Deep questions take lots of energy+focus.
Poker Study:
Play 40-50 hours/week 5-6 days/week
I will Study 90 mins a day.
Filters [All lines + tagged hands]
Final table reviews
3-4 Hand historys/weekly
Fitness/health:
Consume 1 fruit/day
Consume 1 vegetable/day
Consume 100-150g of protein/daily
Stretch 20 mins/daily
Workout 5x/weekly
Meditate 5-15 mins/daily
Sleep 9 hours/daily [Poker is very fatiguing on brain]
Goal 2025:
Be able to run 3 miles in under 18 mins [i've never ran a sub 6 min mile or 2 miles]
Have no back pain.
Play a triton.
Buy a house [May of 2025]
Put in 400 hours to poker study in 2025.
Passions: [Things I'd like to work on when life allows]
Reading
Cooking
Board games
Video games
Walking around in nature
My little brother is climbing in poker now as well he's 19 and I coach him along with my friends. I will update this in May.
This will be my last post till I buy a house. By then I'll have fixed my back, fixed my leaks, Bought a house. I consider this the final chapter before the climax of this thread. I am 100% committed to poker till the end of 2026 at this point. I will explore other options As my life opens up.
Thank you for reading thus far. Have a good holiday.See you in May.
