MY PLO Journey from online to LIVE cash or tournaments... then to infinity and beyond....

Hi everyone,

A little bit about me:

My beginning

My RUSH grind this year around 900k hand...

Why a new blog? Because I am hopefully moving on from Rush now and will be doing PLO fulltime.

So my rush and NL blog are kinda irrelevant.

My shenanigans throughout the year, have...

Currently I am around 34k hands in my PLO venture... It's a small sample but hopefully I be over 50k by end of this month to have a better idea of my converging win rate.

Currently winning at 9 bb/100

Stakes I currently play:

NL500-NL1K
PLO200/PLO400+

Usually $1k buyin bullets since its the size I think is best to exploit the table. I have better intuition and postflop skills so I want capitalise when we play super deep. If things go well I will dive into live PLO next month and this blog is just a way to keep myself in check. Make sure I am playing well and try achieve some goals.

Goals for September.
$20k-50k profits on tables online (not including rakeback)

If I hit my September goal I will go and play live for 1 week in October also. Similar game format. PLO 1/2 or PLO 2/5

I don’t play much PLO anymore since poker is a secondary venture.
I’ve moved onto other business but I will come back to PLO in future.
Summary: $60k Won over 30k hands at 92 BB/100

I have hands on driverhud also but I posted them graphs already.
I stopped recording the hand histories since I been travelling and not really on a computer to be able to do so.

My takeaways and lessons learned is:

1. There are many ways to win at poker there is no real right or wrong way sometimes how to play. Many styles can beat PLO and I am sure NL also.
2. Get into a group of people who are crushing or beating the game at the stakes you playing. You will improve so much even if your styles are vastly different.
3. Forget all conventional wisdom. There is too much noise out there... Figure out what works for you and just gradually improve on it and reduce your leaks.

If I come back to poker fulltime again I will continue to update since my goals are to move to LIVE.
