I quit Alcohol last year, & since I've quit Weed, Porn, Cigarettes. Used to jack off every night, 2+ times (Now I just rub one off rarely, once or twice a month if that, using my imagination or a pic of a potential wife) Hallelujah 😀 I only listen to New age, EDM & ofc Gospel songs.
I'm also undergoing food torture by family lol but good samaritan on Facebook, old platonic girlfriend sent me $100. My uncle is sending me some more. TMI but figured I'd give you some context. Not begging lol I have had a horrible BRM issue going back a decade but I've always thought to myself that I'll ONLY CHANGE if I have to, & feeding myself is where it's at lol; I've turned the tables on my family though, had the cops called on me twice, video is on my tiktok @azfyalife where there's English content but mostly Amharic. Now I sing Gospel songs referring to them as Satan, reminding them to lock the kitchen etc I've lost 11kg as a result but it's all for the best, I got to see their true colors. I also disowned myself from my inheritance from both sides. (An Ethiopian first & A World First, with no income, no assets. Ofc there's no legal framework in place for this groundbreaking decision but I'll print it in the newspapers the moment I can afford to)
ANYWAYS back to Poker Goals, I OBV. didn't reach my ridiculously ambitious goal of hitting 4k by now but I've stayed true to my OP (unintentionally) of starting from Zero & I have no doubt that I'll reach $100K at least a year from when I write this. I'm one of the best players but I just suck terribly at BRM, or sucked rather. My issue is taking a shot, BINKING, Binking again & then incessantly keep taking shots; taking shots is truly an art.
First, I need to make $1500+ to withdraw $300 (enough for 3 months food)
Secondly, I need to make a year's rent of $2k + $1k for food, yearly with $2k BR left to play $6.6 MTTS on ACR so $5k total. Writing this makes me remember another thought I had, that if you wish to reach a certain figure, it's hard as it is, add people intentionally persecuting me, trying to irritate & starve me to death lol but IF YOU HAVE TO COME UP with a certain amount? The likelihood of achieving this goal increases, so there. I just need to set a fixed sleeping schedule & weekly planner. The devil hates a programmed life.
It's said that a deadline helps you reach your goals but it also adds unnecessary pressure so I won't do that until I stand on my own two feet. Upon moving out, we can start talking deadlines.
Sorry for the long read but I feel it's a necessary update. We're not robots after all! I wish more poker players showed their vulnerable side so we can all learn from it. I have yet to read a SINGLE introspective Bio of one, point me towards if there are any. Poker Pros are 1 dimensional, sadly. I hope to change that.

Sounds like you need around 250 dollars a month to get by. So 20% roi should be attainable at micro limits so you need to spend around 1250 pm on mtts, working 20 days per month at 62.50 a day. So around 20 mtts play you would want to avg 3.30 so between 1.10 and 6.60.

You would really want a bank roll of 350 or so, but your targets are definitely achievable, just need to get those 600 mtts in a month. Good luck!

My ROI is significantly higher than the average so I'd gander to say +40% hence my self-sabotaging ego making me take too many shots, so I may not need to play that many MTTs.

Paid rent for 3 months but short of food money. I sent back $50 + 50 via uncle. Now I'm blackmailing mom cause she supports a rebel group, bluffing that I got her recorded saying so 😀 for my food stipend. I can't keep withdrawing money for food, she kicked me out on the condition that she'd send me food money until I got myself situated.
ANYWHO I run up $50 to 150 got 50 in crypto, just kept crushing the PLO8 .05/.10 tables over n over UNTIL the eventual **** show + bad play ofc, I was up to $70 then went down to $40 playing NLHE + PLO8 then decided hey MTTS are my thing, in classic AZ fashion I won my first MTT that I played in a while, 1.10 PKO We got $118.41 rn (My biggest stacks came from checking both turn + river on Ft & right before 😀 They had absolute BS air but they had to go for it, I guess or I just knew my customers)
I love Cash, easy money BUT I'm primarily a MTT player, over $9K in cashes last time I checked? Also noticed that with my gym schedule, + cooking time + eating carbs, MTTs aren't appealing at all BUT I gotta play them! Too much cash makes you an impatient MTT player imo. On y vas! Lets' get to 1k!

Hehe Just made my American International Community school monthly salary in 2 days, all the **** I had to take. In at 7 am leave at 6. Toxic colleagues. Expat salaries were 500% times more or something even more egregious. Thank god for Poker.
