My journey through online poker
Hello my name is David and i'm from Mexico, so I apologize in advance for my bad english, I've been playing poker (cash games) for a couple of months now, with the hopes of getting out of Micros soon. I'm not sure if anyone is ever going to be reading this, but I think it's a good idea to share my general thoughts somewhere. I have always been an extremely shy person and I don't like to talk about myself a lot. I hope by having this thread I'll force myself to communicate to others my ideas and general feelings, not only about poker, but also about life in general.
Now regarding poker, I'm currently playing NL10 6 max on GG. I know the rake in that site is criminal so if anyone has an advice in which site is better to play and beat micros, please feel free to tell me.
Now this is the graph of the first month I've played NL10 games. The volume I've played its horrendous, that's something I need to change.
So I guess i'll be writing here and trying to documentate my journey, please feel free to come and give me your thoughts/advice regarding my posts. I hope you have and excellent day.

Hey David,
Volume is indeed crucial for building consistency and improving your game.
Setting specific volume goals can help you stay disciplined and focused on your objectives.
GG Poker may have high rake, there are other platforms like PokerStars, partypoker, or 888poker that you might want to explore for comparison.
Feel free to continue sharing your progress, thoughts, and any questions you may have. We're here to support you on your poker journey.
Keep grinding and striving for improvement!
Hi styless, thanks for your kind response to my thread. Do you know how many hands is a good volume per month in micros? I hope you have a nice day.
Hello there. GL on your journey.
I think 25-30k hands is a good volume.
At micro stakes, it's easier to find games, and the hands per hour are typically higher compared to higher limits.
Additionally, consider the amount of time you can dedicate to poker.
Setting realistic goals is essential to avoid putting undue pressure on yourself.
gl with your goals! 😀
