Cash Game - NL 2 and NL 5 - My journey to NL500

Hey guys,

I'm a lurker on the forum for quite some time, just started again with 25$ Bankroll, playing on GG Poker Zoom Tables.

I'm sharing my stats and graph's, please review my game and try to point my flaws.

I have roughly 35% rakeback cashback, so i got already an extra 12$ + 3$ on the leaderboards. i'm up 78$ right now.

Thank you for your help and time! ✌

I'm being more agressive on NL 5 regarding NL 2, I notice on first 4K hands on NL 5 that i couldn't be so passive on the flop, so i started folding more 3 bets during pre-flop play and when playing, being more agressive on the flop.

Today's session - NL 5

It's going on well, wish me luck. 🙂

New Update - 1st April

Trying a more agressive approach (agression factor it's now 3.8), my BB/100 increased a lot.

I feel confortable right now playing these stakes, but i need at least more 15/20K going strong to even think to raise the limits, otherwise the fall will be big.

Without Rake

Do you have any suggestion to where i can improve?

Thank you ! 🙂

Dang bro, teach me your ways.

Dang bro, teach me your ways.

I’m here to learn, I don’t have anything to teach 😅

Just adapting my playing style to the player pool I get and having good pre flop ranges.

Hopefully will have time to have some more sessions to post here.

Thank you all 🙏

More aggression must be printing money on zoom tables probably because people fold a lot so when you get no values with your good hands you need to run them over with aggression so you pick up a lot of pots, well im not even playing zoom but this is what i think, gl mate

That actually makes a lot of sense, that's why probably i'm winning more being agressive.

Sample it's still small, let's see.

Gl to you too

Tried to be more agressive, but people started calling my bluffs and hitting the flop along the board.

So i switched my aprroach to a more classic, tight playing game, pratically just value betting and avoiding being trapped in my own bluffs. It costs a little bit more to wait for better hands, but it paid off with less variance and with better spots.

33K hands

Do you guys think i can try NL 10? I feel i'm a better and more balanced player right now, but don't know if the field will be a lot more agressive or not.

Thank you for reading :p

Great results. Your stats seem allright, maybe something to focus and study for you would be to x/r flops a bit more aggressively. It's a good trick especially vs population. vs smaller flop cbet sizings you can raise like 14-15% of your range across all boards (more on paired boards/low connected boards etc. less on AJ3 type boards). Try to work out for different board types what you want to achieve with raising/what part of the range will be the valueregion. vs pool you can even up the frequency. Although it's also important to become more comfortable, also in nodes in later streets. just see what works for you. I'm just giving ideas.

gl!

Impressive results. Keep up the good work.
If you run anything like me though, you should wait until you are well overrolled for 10 nl.
