grinding in the little red dot
intro: hi guys, 24yo from Singapore. picked up poker roughly 6 years ago, zynga poker reeled me in and then started watching tom dwan highlights. enjoyed playing the game ever since. only been playing online for 3 years ish, main grind is app games (500NL) so online is sort of like my practice ground cuz i'm not able to clock as many hands as i would like playing those app games.
deposited $50 in GG at first (haven't been able to deposit ever since), then ran it up to $100 playing AOF (lol).
started grinding 10NL RnC and ran it up to 20BI for the next stake. did the same for 25NL.
halfway through the 50NL journey, decided to be a ****** and degen it away by playing some 5card at 100PL and lost like 60% of my roll.
back to 25nl i guess..... WAIT BAD BEAD JACKPOT WHAT??
bink:p
anyways, gonna start at 50NL RnC and try to run it up to the next stake. don't want to set a fixed goal, i'll just keep going until i can't anymore.

gonna try to play 3k hands every day.
random hero call to start the session😀
this one was a fun bluff
here u always snap river cuz V repping good Tx+ OTR but they never protect their block turn range with strong hands.
mehh not sure about this one, V is reg. don't think this hand catches particularly well.
too ambitious?
graph for this session, things are clicking together nicely just need to work on getting better hands 😃 cya tmr
current br: $1819.27
gl man !
GL! Nice Jackpot 😀 Will follow!
nothing eventful for today, just wanted to share a funny hand against a reg (or so i thought 😃).
honestly quite refreshing to see, amongst this nitpool there are still some wild ones out there <3
went with b75b75 instead of OB turn - jam river cuz i wasn't sure in game if it was too thin to play for stacks, at 150bb it's fine iirc. but gonna take a look at the threshold in gtow later.
how would u guys size the river here?
graph for today's sesh, also do u guys use a cushion for your wrist when you're playing?
current BR: $1901.1
Good Luck! Will be following. I like the fold with QQ
prolly gonna switch to reg tables.
pros: more fish, more time to think about each spot in depth.
cons: can get bored easily cuz the action is so slow lol
anyway some hands from today's session.
against fishie, river is interesting i thought that there was more value in letting them bluff randohand. don't think fishie gonna pay off with valuehand OTR unless i go b10 or something.
VERY speculative call down by decent reg
usually value bet this against fish OTR but didn't against super aggro fishie, not worth reopening.
some of the bigger pots, nothing special though the plays seem standard.
graphs for today, first one was earlier in the day but had to cut it short.
+$217.33
current BR: $2118.43
oh forgot about this one. not sure if this is a thing at all in theory, my thinking was that i unblock the str8 draws, possibly get V to fold middling Tx and ocassionally cooler the QJcc/QJdd combos. also not that bad to fold out a hand that has 6-10 live outs against us. thoughts?
redline also gonna take a dip cuz i'll be playing more MW pots on reg tables.
hey guys gonna just update this weekly instead cuz it's too much work 😃. first week at reg tables went rather well 😀
pls someone tell me how to show graph for a specified duration on h2n4 lolol
not sure abt this one, don't mind river bluff but sizing prob just spew against fishreg
random clicking
weird merge OTT from reg, maybe thought i was fish lolol
very thin value bet from reg, optimistic but i respect it.
this may or may not be too thin considering it was up against 60vpip whale i think i'll live with it when V shows a better hand.
more random clicking
glad i found this nice one against reg
********
this week's pnl = $536.11 (cash games) + $300 ish from RB + $100 ish from leaderboards/daily flipouts
current br: $3046.8
********
gonna start shotting 100NL in the coming days, cya next week✌️
ok thanks mrberry
looks like i missed out a session or two when going through the list of sessions played for the week. abysmal redline lol
week 3 update
-$165.3 from cash games
+$760 from RB spin
+leaderboards prolly around $100 ish
was 6 tabling 100NL at the start but then transitioned to playing 3 tables of 50NL and 3 tables of 100NL. everything was smooth on 50NL tables but i was just getting hit by the deck at 100NL tables. honestly glad that i made the switch to half50nl-half100nl cuz i would've felt so demoralised.
took a weird line here
owned by fishie 😃 V showed 85ss
donations always appreciated
glad i found the click 3b OTF, i think regs play better against flop jam. against fish i would still jam all value OTF.
very questionable stack off from reg, albeit PF call from me is also bad.
current BR: $3759.07
been busy with intern the past 2 months, haven't really had much time to play and keep up with this. managed to grind out 100k hands at GG though
i'm up around 4k on GG since the start of this blog, mostly from RB and leaderboards.
also, i'm gonna be shifting more of my volume onto ACR as the recreationals aren't as nitty as the ones on GG.
first week results on ACR:
+$1480
this one was quite close, i think it's a mistake not jamming without the flush blocker
HU hand i played. sim for this was interesting, almost all 9x are continuing turn except for T9. my hand was mostly calling and jamming turn 1/3 of the time. river is a pure fold though.
can't fold here, prob overbluffed.
same for this
ALWAYS always jam vs fish and pray they hero call something. needless to say, jamming is a huge punt against reg.
weird one, have to admit i was completely lost OTR
against aggro player, always give them rope. they'll go for it when they think you're capped.
