Increase volume after my first Profitable month
I've made a couple posts before. I'm a current stay at home dad, played poker for about 20 years, taking another shot at grinding online poker. I only play in the morning. Usually an hour give or take. And I have been feeling very good about playing on a schedule and when I'm most alert. My goal now is to start playing earlier so I get in longer sessions (2 hours give or take) and also play more days (can be tough in summer because we travel more). I hit about 1300 hands in June and want to play at least 3500 hands in July.
The good news is June was my first profitable month of 2024. It wasn't a lot. $108.50 (434 bb's) playing at the 0.10/0.25 game (a couple sessions in June were 0.25/0.50 before I dropped down). That was about 15 hours and 1295 total hands. I was playing at the 0.25/0.50 game this entire year (about 4000 hands) and was down a little over $200.
A friend of mine who posts on here (RichCheckmaker) gave me some pointers. He was the one who suggested dropping down a level. That was great advice. He also helped me refine my bet sizing, in particular pre-flop 3 bets, and c-bets on the flop, and to bet more unopened hands pre-flop. The interesting thing is I dropped levels at the same time I started applying these suggestions so there is a quantifiable difference seen at each level of stakes I played in my HUD stats.

Good luck man. If your table isn't good you can quit and find a new one also. Much better 3bet% looks good. You got this.
