happy to start my blog in the right place.
First to introduce myself. I'm Viktor 36years old male from Bulgaria. I live in Scotland and yesterday I came back from a holiday so I decided is perfect time to start my blog. I've been considering to do that for a long, long time but never gave it a go. I've been playing poker since 2015, roughly, with long breaks in the begging and also I was playing no more than 10mmts a moth for my first 4 years. Around 2018 started to put more time into playing and also I stopped to play 10p mtts. I was trying to start learning the game but didn't know from where to start ,was reading irrelevent materials to what I was playing and so on and so on .Long story short I want this time to do the right things in the right way . I play mtts and I want to fully dedicate myself for next year or two into improving ,building a healthy bankroll and to increase the stakes .

I'm in profit,in general ,but I'm break even on stars due to I play only largest field mtts while I like the most to play small fields and is hard to adjust correctly so I assume I make a lot of mistakes when fields are enourmously large .My favourite mtts are with 250-700players. Also Ipoker is undeniably softer. My average buy in is around 10$ with 15%ROI. My ROI in 5euro games is almost 100% but I have very low ROI in 20euro games ,lets say I'm breakeven there because my $per game is smaller than my$ per game in 5euro games.
I have few goals doing this blog:
1. connect with better poker players than me ,I have no poker buddies
2. I had a friend who is very succesful in life ,but not a poker player , and he was always telling me that I have to write. I have a daily diary but I feel I need to write and share my journey with the right people who can see someting that I can't and eventually will hint me a thing or two. I'm a kid of 90's and when I was growing up Bulgaria and my surrounding was quite savage so I was constanly involed in differrent criminal activities and I was lucky not to get locked up numerous times .Basically I'm easy influenced for good or bad. I'm still a call away from doing bad things for a lot of money and that's why I like poker because it feels like I'm hustling but it's legal and intellectually benefitial. I like to live on the edge, I'm used to, and poker provides me that.
3. I want to improve my english writting skills ,so fill free to give 1-2 verbal lashes there ,too 😀
Currently I'm not working,since February. I rely on poker and savings I keep low budget life atm to make my journey possible but I'm thinking to find 1-2 days jobs for my days off playing because it's lonesome journey and I need some socializing and also to make some $$$ ,not just to hang around aimlessly in the town . I live in Dundee Scotland but thinking to relocate in 2025. That will be possible only if I manage to maintain a consistant 2000-3000 euros profits a month . I shouldn't be very money specific but thats also one of the goals ,otherwise - there are plates to be washed 😀 .
I've been working as waiter for many years. I've studied computer programming but I never enjoyed it and psychology in the university,never liked it eigher. Basically, I came to uk to pick strawberries many years back,near London, and I end up in Dundee to study- did one year in college studing english and when I applied in university to study regional planning or politology(I'm geo gig) due to irrelevence in my previous degrees I was denied. I had to do 3 extra years in college and that put me off. Since then I was washing dishes , I have a Kitchen porter master degree😀,joking .sounds bad but I like hospitality. I've been waiter for like 7 years but I'm done with that despite I have a 2 years course there,too I'm quite good and experienced. I was KP in the Old Course hotel ,attached to the first gold course in the world. 5 red star,hotel and there I was doing some waitering for fun ,just events which most waiters were shaking to do-like Rolex annual event,Dunhil ,Bmw competitions, some serious events where were only CEO of microsoft ,intel ,Google etc. Working for mafia or playing poker professionally is way more stressfull.Anyway ,let's get back to poker.
From where I will start.
I've used pokercode for a while. My favourite poker player is Fedor Holz. Dude has cool personality and is crusher-live and online, but for some reason when I started the course I didn't feel its my place. So I stopped. I'm very oldschool person . I like to write down everything so the process is slow.
I realized I wanted to work with bulgarian coaches. A while ago I applied to join a bulgarian poker community but because I exposed some of my degenerative past ,noone even responded to my application. Now I found another place where I can apply and there are some really,really good bulgarians who do coaching.But that will be later in the future . For my 2-3 years of being a degenarate I will do another post where I will explain it because who knows ,may be someone can recognize himself and is still in the begging of his degenerative journey so he can rethink and stop being stupid . Honesty is one of my weapons but not everytime is very well accepted.
Because I think I have many fundamental leaks I decided to leave my ego on the side and start from the begging. while I was on a holiday I worked out the most important odds using primedope. Next step is to improve my general knowledge of the game and more specifically my mtt understanding . how Icm and the field of players correlate, pot odds. For this I will use the GTO wizzard blog. There some very very good articles. Stage 3 will be to improve my knowledge of HM3 and what and how to use it , to maximize the benefits of the program. So far I use it for hud and I have written down some notes based on statics.And meanwile I will start using hrc on a regular and imrove my knowledge about the program .
This is how I will start from the scratch. I know quite well the chip EV ranges from pokercode ,that will help and is a step on ladder.
I will post in my blog weekly but sometimes I may post some hands during the week as well.
That being said I will go. The post isgetting long,heavy and borring.
