redemption blog and my goal to play high stakes nlhe

I've posted a lot of blogs apparently 😀, in fact I barely remember some of the stuff I used to say. I had/have a huge ego and thought I was better than everyone else, like many players who move up to midstakes and think they are crushers. I ended up losing my bankroll a couple years ago and had to grind back up from the bottom - can't say it wasn't tough and I took many breaks.

But I have learned a lot of lessons in the 3 1/2 years I've been playing poker (you can look at my first posts, making some atrocious plays at 10nl!), and have been able to make it back to playing midstakes. Here are my results for 2024 playing 200/400nl on ACR (Yes I play low volume approach typically 4-5 tables only)

I have had troubles playing casino games in the past but I believe I have moved past that. I have a decent bankroll and I am more motivated than ever to move up to high stakes nlhe and grow a real bankroll so when I graduate college I can move forward and prioritize poker. I am playing 100% of my volume on ACR reg tables but I have heard very good things about global poker so I am going to try and integrate some tables from there and take shots at 500nl games (I'm US based btw).

I want to show some of my struggles balancing poker and other things in life, and show the reality of trying to be competitive in poker with a busy schedule.
