APL Millions Gold Coast

I have always wanted to do a PB&G. I used to spend a bit of time in these forums, mainly lurking, enjoying PB&Gs from the likes of 6bet me, Skuzlad and Meale.

The APL (Australian Poker League) Millions are coming up this August so I thought it would be a good time to do one. I’m currently planning on playing 8 events and a satellite before the series. Only planning on playing NLH at this point.

Goals:
1) Win as much $ as I can
2) Reach a final table
3) Document and share interesting hands
4) Win APL Millions

About Me:
I’m a Gold Coast local for nearly a decade. I often play a tournament or two in the local series that pop up every couple of months but I’m yet to win a tournament. My best is coming 6th out of 1021 for around $5.5k Australian (all monies will be in dollarydoos). I learnt poker in 2009 but became more interested in the game around 2018, playing online, and then played live for the first time in 2019. I was playing more cash than tournaments.
Lately between work and study I haven’t found much time for live cash games. I play sometimes on GG but mainly play the bounty sit and goes on GG.
I’ve got August off for my studies, so the timing is great for Millions.

2) Event 5: One-Shot – 10th Aug, $250
3) Event 13: 8-Max – 12th Aug, $350
4) Event 20: Freezeout – 13th Aug, $300
5) Event 24: 350 – 14th Aug, $350
6) Main Event: 17th or 18th Aug, $1,500, $3 Million Est.
7) Event 65: Mini High Roller – 22nd Aug, $450
8) Event 72: 2nd Chance Megastack – 24th Aug, $350
9) Event 75: Monster Stack – 25th Aug, $350
