Goal: Make $1K+ per month playing cash balancing a full time job and parenting

I have recently got back into online poker as a hobby after a 10 year hiatus. I was never an amazing player but I made some money playing back in the day on PokerStars. Gone are the days of grinding 8 hour sessions and waking up at noon, but I'm happy to be back at the tables!

Goal: Make $1K+ per month from Poker

Why: To improve the life of my family and pay for the fun stuff like travel and leisure

Where: Playing cash games predominately on PokerStars Ontario. 99% of my volume is cash games @$50 to $200NL

How: For now, my targets are:

- Play around 10 hours a week (translating into around 10-15K hand per month)
- Study around 5 hours per week, with half these being during commuting to work. For now predominately using GTO wizard.

I will set the following basic principles to follow:

• 1. Poker is less important than family, health/fitness and my job, but can be prioritized above other activities
  
• 2. I will never be the best poker player, but I will continue to improve and game select
  
• 3. Poker is a fun hobby and variance is to be embraced! Any winnings from Poker are a bonus to our lives.

To keep myself accountable to continuously improve and strive to achieve this goal
