The journey

Hello everyone! I'm a 21-year-old Spanish poker player who has been playing this game for less than a year. I started my poker 'career' in the summer of 2023 through some friends who recommended it to me, so I decided to install PokerStars to try my luck. I fell in love with the game from the first hand. From the beginning, I've focused on the cash game format because it's the one I like the most and the one that best fits my lifestyle.

I bought PokerTracker 4 from the start and began grinding NL2, achieving good results during the first 3 months. In January of this year, the database got corrupted, and I had to create a new one (which annoyed me quite a bit since it was over 100k hands with a win rate of 8bb/100...) that I’m currently using. This database tracks the stakes of NL10, NL25, and some NL50.

The reason I decided to create this thread is to keep a record of my career so that in the future, I can look back and remember how I felt in the past. My goals for the rest of the year are:

- Establish myselft in NL50
- Grind another120k hands
- Improve my mental game (I´ve always had bankroll management problems + tilt).

Here are my results so far this year. PS: I´ve been running terribly in the last 25-30k hands. I´ll try to update the blog every 2-3 months.
