Hiyas, I'm new to 2p2. I've been putting off writing about my poker journey. I'm ripping off the bandaid and just posting something now. I plan to make daily updates for the next 7 days about my poker journey. I'll reevaluate from there how often or in what format I want to do. Board was 9c 8s 2h 4h 4d. I had 88 and villain had 99. I used his personality type (like GTO, gambler, or omc), how often that line is bluffed, raise sizing tells, and live tells. The flop was 4-ways which helped. Very proud of myself as I usually tilt toward spewey instead of nitty.

Played okay, a couple of times i noticed i was thinking about the wrong things or just not paying attention. Also made a questionable overbet bluff that i got stacked on. I made a very bad play jamming into an overbet with a midflush. Got lucky and the guy folded a better flush than me cuz he thought I had a boat. I have a mental leak where I rush decisions to not give off bet timing tells, but I think having a higher quality decision is prob more important.

Very satisfied with my work this week. I would have hit 20 hours easily if I weren't sick today. I think moving forward I'll exclude the missed goals from the previous week. (ie not target for the 3 flops I missed last week). I should put it in my stretch/outrageous goal but not in my target. This'll help me focus on this weeks goal. In the future, I think I might had hand analysis to my goals when doing a week of playing.

Going to the library seems to have a large impact on my satisfaction for the day. I assume this is for two reasons. It's much easier to get high quality work bouts done and it gets me out of the house for a bit. I'll write up a weekly goal for going to the library.

Goals for the upcoming week:
I want to do some studying this week. I'll study some of hungry horses videos so I can have a defined strategy that covers many more situations. I hope this accomplishes two things.
1. Plugs any massive leaks that I'm unaware of. ie spots where I predominantly use my intuition and could be completely off
2. Simplify my strategy and reduce the number of spots that I need to use my intuition (ie think more) so I can play more tables effectively.
I want to be able to play more hands in a day. Linus could play 8-12k hands a day. LIKE WTF HOW. If I played every waking hour in a day, I'd only get to 5.5k hands. So there's def room for growth there. I feel I can only play 2 zoom tables and confidently play well. That's something I wanna improve on.
I also would like to increase the number of hours I can play in a day. I'll likely focus on that after this week is over.
My goal will be to reach a number of hours of studying this week. I assume this will be harder than playing the same number of hours so I'll decrease it a bit.
Minimum: 10 hours - 3 Library visits
