Make short work of big dreams
Acceptance
I have been playing poker since 2012, a losing player for the vast majority of that time not allowing myself to accept that fact, around 8 years later something changed and I began to accept I was not good. Fast forward 4 years and I am an average 25nl player with mediocre results at the game I love.
From one side of the world to the other
My partner and I recently moved from the UK to New Zealand, I will be leaving behind any doubt in my mind that I had at my prospects of thriving in the current poker landscape and pursing my dream relentlessly, posting my results, the good the bad the ugly and any interesting stories along the way.
*Goals for 2025
- Find an effective study framework that makes sense for me
- Beat 25nl, beat 50nl and beat 100nl
- Work on finding a balance between my poker play, study & posting on this blog from the enjoyment of my life outside of poker (I am obsessive about the game but need a healthy way to switch off)
*Goals for next week
- Metagame coach Saulo Costa will be launching a FREE series of seminars next week on exactly the first thing I am keen to improve on, building a study framework for improving at poker, I will treat this as my bible, absorb as much of the information as I can share my findings and study routine moving forward.
- Commit 25 hours (excluding the seminars) to study, I will post a recap of what that looked like at the end of next week
I am rolld for around 100 - 150 bi's at 25nl lets get it!
