Chasing 50K in 365 Days: Spin & Go Weekly Update
Hey everyone,
I'm excited to join the community and share my poker journey with all of you! To give a bit of background, I started in poker with MTTs, playing an ABI of 35-70€ for three years. After that, I transitioned to Spin & Go for six months, working my way through the €10, €25, and €50 stakes. Since then, I've switched back and forth between MTTs (including a recent stint at an ABI of 80) and Spins (€100), and I’m currently back at Spins, playing at the €10 level to build status. My goal by the end of the year is to reach a 32% rakeback status at this level, and then move up to €50-€100 Spins.
One of my main challenges over the years has been maintaining volume, especially with Spins. I struggle even to start my sessions in this format, despite my relatively modest volume target. I’m here to work on this and hope to learn from the forum’s collective experience. While Im not aiming for massive volume, I do want to reach a solid monthly target while keeping a high cEV, so I can focus on making quality plays. My goal for 2025 is to achieve 3,000 Spins a month at the €50-100 level with strong cEV.
Outside of poker, I’ve completed three marathons and pay close attention to my nutrition, sleep, and training. I’ll be tracking my progress weekly with WHOOP to share insights and keep myself accountable. Funny enough, unlike poker, I have no trouble sticking to healthy habits—getting good sleep, exercising regularly, and eating well are no issue for me.
Looking forward to connecting with you all and exchanging strategies to build better habits and improve our game. Thanks for having me here!
To give you a better idea of my Spin & Go journey so far, here’s a graph of my progress since around August 20th.
As you can see... volume isn’t exactly my strong suit!
Also, just to clarify, my current cEV is 72, though it doesn’t appear on the graph shown.
(Quick note: the net won on the screen is slightly off; I'm actually at €7,455 rather than €6,195, thanks to two big jackpots.)
Hoping to change that with some help from the community. Any advice on how to get those sessions going would be much appreciated!
