My Poker Journey: Bankroll from nothing to 10.000 $
Background Information:
Hello guys, my name is Max and im a german player since i was 17. I am 23 now and i was a winning player at the micros from the very start because i bought and studied the TMC course from
Raiseyouredge. I really enjoyed playing and winning, who doesnt ;D My problem was that my mindset sucked and when i lost like 20 MTT's or mincashed. I told myself with 50 bucks i had to to well but i didnt control myself and lost it all. Thats why i left Poker behind when i was 21 for a longer time and concentrated on myself, i enjoyed MMA and especially grappling.
I tore my ACL because i was dumb but that was another story and got back to poker for a while but never took it that serious because i could still do PE on the upperbody.
Now i got Myokarditis and am out of my job and cant do PE for a while. Because i cant do a lot and gaming isnt fun anymore i took poker serious.
But because of my backstory and tilting tendencies i worked myself up from freerolls on Pokerstars and GGPoker. On Pokerstars it was easier because i had 10$ left. On GG i really abused the Freeroll series and christmas gifts. I got my bankroll on GG to 80$ and thought i can play 2$ tournaments and got back to 50$ that way. Still its good to see 😀
These are some of the graphs from pokercraft.
On Pokerstars it really worked out well for me, had several deepruns at micros and won some freerolltournaments where you are forced to go all-in every hand for german poker players.
I even got myself a 109$ ticket i will play tomorrow for the silvester event, wish me luck 😀
This is the graph on Sharcscope. I am still negative on Pokerstars because i resetted it so its not real.
But its very good for me mentally to see that im in profit.
Study plan:
At the moment i study with icmizer the daily questions on 45man MTT for Pokerstars and the TMC course. I would like to talk to likeminded people, especially germans.
I wanna focus on 40bb RFI and BU calling spots atm and after that 3bet pots.
I hope i can find a few cool people who are on a similar journey and got freetime like myself.
Because i wanna grind basically 10 hours a day and study like 2 hours for the next months.
And even after i am back to a good state and back to MMA and grappling i wanna study an hour daily and play a lot on the weekends and when i have freetime.
For me it is funny to see that a good mindset changes everything in Poker and for me meditation was a gamechanger.
I wanna use this blog to update on my bankroll challenge and keep myself accountable!
I hope you guys find it interesting to watch my journey 😀
