Computer Build for Solver
My Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz laptop has 2 cores and 16 GB Ram on my laptop. So, if I am going to use a solver, I want to build a desktop computer that only runs the solver. No internet, no bloatware, cheap video card, nothing else. In one YouTube video example, the speed to solve a tree was 364 seconds and GTO Wizard 3 to 4 seconds. Do you know how many cores and threads it would take to get PIO solver from the 364 seconds down to the 3 or 4 seconds of GTO Wizard? For instance, the Intel Core i9-14900KS Desktop Processor has 24 cores and can be afforded. For thousands of dollars the 4th Generation AMD EPYC processor family has I think up to 128 cores, but not very affordable. Can you hazard a guess at what would be needed for 3 to 4 second performance in a desk top machine for PIO solver?
