Solver question....

Hey I don't have access to a solver right now I only have access to solver based apps. Could someone please differentiate between what the range solution weighted vertically VS horizontally means? I'm talking about certain combos on range split will have vertical and horizontal different colors what do each mean? Forgive me if this is a dumb question.
