Playing mtts microstakes on ggpoker regularly for 2 months and badbeats are incredible
I started playing on ggpoker a couple of months ago and the badbeats i recibe are amazinggggg, like everyday i get badbe
In the QQ hand you should fold. There's an ace on the board.
In the AKs hand you missed your money card, now it's time to keep the pot small. You failed that obviously.
In the AT hand you have A high. What do expect the opponent to have after giving you all that action? Check fold it.

dont respond if you are clueless please, go to sleep, all hands are all in pre idk what are you talking about, bloqued for mental safety
there is your answer...
its like comparing multi tabling poker to a single table of live poker where you only see about 25 hands per hour.
Obviously the scenario where you only see 25 hands per hour is where you wont think youre getting bad beat after bad beat because you simply cant with that volume...
But now you introduce multiple tables, and multiple tournaments...Youre obviously going to start noticing more bad beats but you wont notice the positive end of variance because most gamblers only focus on the losses not the wins
Second mtt of the day also with the weirdeist call losing again:
First mtt and last one of the sunday:
Most of those hands are completely normal. Unless your definition of bad beat is losing any hand where you flop 51%+ equity.
He had ten outs OTT when the money went in. He had a set and as far as he knew he could still have the best hand. Your big checkraise OTT were more than reasonable to interpret as a semibluff, trying to blow him out of the hand. Plus with a set against a possible flush you know you always have reasonable outs.
You are expected to loose this hand more than 20% of the time. That means you will experience losses like this on a regular basis. Sometimes it will also happen several times in a row. It's disappointing and frustrating for many of us, but it's part of everyones game. The sooner you realize that, the better for you.
I used to laugh at all the GGPoker is rigged players until I played on GG for the first time myself and lmfao it was a small sample size, but I ran so insanely bad and similarly below EV that I understood it. I’ve laid down hands and walked away in rigged games before and uninstalling the ggpoker app felt the same way.
Still running insanely bad but i managed to not bust my entire BR and ended the downsing with a couple of FT´s, this are the last 4 mtts of today:
The only good thing about this, i buyed a big white board and not missed a study day for the last months:
i believe my game is improving everyday, tough the course im studing is for high stakes mtts alot of the concepts apply to the general understanding of the game, i just have to make adjustements on micros (mostly overfolding, not calling donk shoves because mostly nuts lol, stoping barrels when the fold is unlikely, donking my self on some overfolded boards, and just observing the general bad moves people will make and trying to exploit ) Alot of the time i can pinpoint the exact hand rival has, still not getting the EV+ when pushing turns but maybe is just a matter of time and volume.
Let me put it another way; if the website I play on said "Hey, we want you to play as a house player; you'll have xyz privelege" ---- I'm taking that deal even if it's a potripper scenario. You can cry morality all you want; but I like money more than I like morals. I'd probably wait for the website to go defunct before ever telling anyone.
This is a fascinating quote given the poster had a thread railing on and on about how Global Poker is secretly not a legit poker site and they had the smoking gun. Seems like they were just upset that they weren't picked to be the house player.
Still getting coolered by asians most of the time, reduced the volume to a couple of mtts a day because its making me play worse and worse, push top pair top kicker and get called by top pair no kicker and losing everytime by asians with no spins stats/ no battle royale, almost no wins in mtts, and even they don´t appear in Sharkscope, funny thing.

Well i think it´s not fascinating, in a ideal world i think most of us will choose equitative and fairness in everything, at least not being scammed/ cheated blatanty, but given the chance of, in this case per example being a house player and winning alot of money vs knowing you are being scam and loosing money... the equation is simple lol, most of us will choose the first one, if there is notting you can do to prevent or change the situation, morally some people will decline the offer but not the majority. On the other hand if i get the hipotetical chance of choosing between being a house player vs getting the assurance of fair play for all people on the site, i sure will chose that one.
It is good you are so focused on bad beats and such. You should keep a detailed notebook and keep track of every bad beat. Then when you study away from the table spend 80% of time reviewing the notebook focusing on the bad beats. Before each session spend a few minutes revewing the bad beats some more. Expect to see drastic improvement. You can thank me later.

I know you´re right, i spend the last and a half year trying to focus on studying and getting better, but the reality of online poker right now is that no matter how good you are, you cant make a living from it anymore.
Patrick leonard, one of the best online mtt players sayed a couple of day ago this reality, literally stated on the podcast Solve for why "I would say the previus years to anyone that put the effort and study to get better at poker and try to make a living, that is possible to do it" this year i think is really impossible to anyone to do it, maybe the 0.01% that runs hot would make it" and stating afterwards that he cant understand anyone not cheating with rta or using bots online if they want to make money
Move to el barco bro, live poker ain't dead
WHATEVER THIS THREAD IS, IT'S WAY TOO SERIOUS FOR BBV
