My best bluff ever
1/2, Florida card room, Hero $300, Villain ~$150.
Yesterday, from LP, I semi bluff opened to $20 against several limpers with 7h6h and got one caller. Pot = $45 after rake.
The A hi flop had 2 hearts, V checked so I bet out again - $40. Villain called. Pot = $125
The turn was noise, V checked. I wasn't absolutely sure how much $$$ he had but about 75% of his stack was $75. So I bet out again for $75 praying that it would take the pot, but V called. Pot = $375
The river was noise but V angrily cursed that he can "never catch a draw." V had ~$25 left but I pushed in every chip I had. He insta folded and yelled at the dealer that just once he would like to catch a flush draw. His FD was surely higher than mine. I got lucky the flush didn't come.
AP, in that situation, as the V, would you ever fold?
I think if I had been V, I would have gone AI on the flop hoping to take it down. AP, I would have gone AI on the turn. I don't see myself ever having to face that river decision.

Correction- pot was $275, not $375 after the turn bet.

I would never fold. You can't win if you fold.
"semi-bluff opened for $20"

I know it sucks but what you gonna do, gotta lose that money
This reminds me of the time I sat down right as a very old man was hollering at the dealer. It was so bad, the guy beside him got mad, spoke up and shut him down - but he was steaming.
A couple hands later I picked up QQ and started betting with the old guy calling all the way. Of course the River brought an ace. After some thought I decided to bet anyway.
He threw KK face up in the muck, screamed at the dealer and left as I meekly pushed my hand in the muck and stacked the pot.
Sometimes I think my greatest strength is just being a very happy person. Lot of unhappy people playing this game.
