BBV Forum Guidelines / Rules *****UPDATED 9/11/21*****

Welcome to BBV. This forum is for the posting of poker related Beats, Brags, and Variance. Basically its where you ***** and where you brag. BBV is NOT where you post your life related BBV or any other sort of Off Topic threads. Please post those in BBV4L, OOT, or the Lounge. Read the stickies there before posting obviously.

Note: No putting "poker" or "EV" in the title of an Off Topic thread doesn't make it a poker related thread.

What doesn't belong in BBV?

• Staking requests or begging for money. These will result in a ban
  
• Your blog thread or a link to an off-site blog. Links will be removed and infractions will likely be handed out. If you want to make a blog thread, visit the PG&C forum.
  
• BBV isn't meant for poker advice. If you want to ask a question about a hand or poker in general please visit the appropriate strat forum
  

Forum Decorum

Note: This list is not meant to be all-inclusive. There may be things that will be punished that are not necessarily included in here and punishment is subject to moderator discretion.

• Do not hotlink pictures. Hotlinking is when you directly link to a picture from another website. Occasionally web hosting services will turn these pictures into goatse and other various disgusting pictures. You are responsible for pictures that you post so please use a rehosting service.
  
• On this line of pictures: NSFW pictures should be labeled as such and kept in NSFW threads or posted in spoilers.
  
• Images that contain any nudity (male or female) may not be posted inline whether or not its in a spoiler. These images can be linked to so long as they are labeled as NSFW
  
• Stupid and over-repeated memes really aren't funny. Even if you think they are hilarious - they probably aren't. Posting "first" "cool story bro" etc etc will get you infractions
  
• Posting "ban OP" in a thread 200 times really isn't funny either - seriously. This also results in infractions.
  
• Do not do anything to evade the profanity filter. Just spell out what you want to say and let the filter do its job. Posting profanity that would normally be filtered in an image is also not permitted.
  
• Death wishes are not permitted and result in a minimum ban length of 3 days. These include posts such as "you should kill yourself" or "jump off a bridge"
  
• Nested spoilers and page stretching are not permitted. Not only is not funny - its just really annoying
  
• Racism will get you infracted or banned
  

To repeat: This list is not all-inclusive and there may be things against the rules that have been left out. As they come up they will be added to the sticky.
