Making a Hobby Profitable...

Hello Guys! 😃

I'm about to finish college, I have a part-time job and I want this thread to be about starting to make poker profitable for me on my free time. So I'm gonna be playing MTT's mostly on weekends.

I'm gonna start with a bankroll of $50 and i'm gonna be playing $.50-$1.00 USD MTT's. I'm gonna be moving up to the $2 MTT's once I reach $200 on my bankroll and so on.

Really excited about it and with the help of 2 Coaches feeling really confy.

I'm gonna start play on two sites and adding more as my bankroll grows.

Any advice you wish to provide, I will appreciate it.
Good vibes,
Keep grinding.

So 5 years have passed and I think is a good moment to update this thread since I just passed my 10k+ profit line a few days ago (graph attached).
I won't lie, it has been a rollercoaster ride, but I am definitely proud of myself and the level I have developed in my game, I am feeling at my ATH in all sense, knowledge, mental and profit timing! 😉

I am currently staked by BBZ (3 years-ish now so far).
Also I am glad to be slowly but steady scaling up on stakes rather than try to beat higher too fast, is one of the values I have recognized I do have... PATIENCE.
I am mostly playing 7 ABI, moving recently to more 10 USD Tournaments.
Focusing on learning and improving my game rather than the potential scores to come.

With this I can confidently close this Thread standing that I did make it profitable and probably make a new one on my next long-term goal at poker, stay close!
Will keep you updated even if it takes a few years from now 😃

Pdt: thanks to all the people that replied to this thread and give such good advices, I now see what you meant with those, appreciate it!

Good vibes,
Keep grinding.
