I'm going to beat 25NL blitz on ACR for >=5 BB/100
Graph so far after 18k hands. This sample obviously doesn't mean much, but I am extremely confident I will beat 25NL on ACR for >=5 BB/100. At least, this is my goal. I've actually found it a lot softer than Igntion. I think this is because people play in a very, very predictable manner on ACR. It's the ****ing wild west over at 25NL on Ignition which has led to me punting because "well he might have 23 offsuit here".
Current winrate in terms of EV is 10bb/100. I'll update again after 50k hands.
For goals, I have very serious ambitions about moving up and playing the highest stakes. I feel like people misunderstand a lot of spots even at higher stakes, so I am probably irrational confident in my ability to make it there. I've spent more times off the tables learning than actually playing, now it's time to grind and make some money.
Maybe I'll crash and burn, we'll see.

Stopped playing to study and get better after little success after 13k hands. Decided to switch over to ACR when I continued playing because it can add about 5BB/100 to my winrate just from rewards (getting 50 bucks - 2 buyins - a week from The Beast leaderboard and 27% rakeback). I also think I play worse on Ignition because I assume all my opponents are making crazy plays which makes me stray from rational play.

Update 41K hands in:
Going pretty well, got off to a very hot start and then cooled down a bit. I've started playing 3 tables at once instead of 2. Can't entirely tell how big of an impact that is having on my play. I definitely think it reduces my win-rate a little, but it's allowing me to get the $125 The Beast bonus this week, so definitely think it's worth it.
Couple things:
1. Have been able to control tilt except for about 3 hands where I made a big blunders making a call I clearly should not have made due to severe tilt. I think one of the hard things about mindset for me in poker is that winrates are tiny. So, when I make a large mistake. I feel like I've essentially ****ed my entire winrate. But, everyone's making big mistakes so I think it's ok every once in a while.
2. I've been getting to know specific players a bit more. Shoutout to my boys MeiFong, MindScissors, and RUBlacklist. Not the best players but fun as **** to play against and playing basically everyday. Definitely no GTO whatsoever in their game.
I'm still thinking about 5BB/100 should be very do-able. Just need to focus a bit more and control tilt a lot more. Have also played about 10k hands high which is probably not the best but too fun to stop doing.
Thanks. Don't see any indications of any bots. I honestly just don't see anyone playing too well.
My personal take is also just that I'm not worried at all about bots. It is extremely complicated to make an effective bot - just think about the infinite possibilities the bot has to handle. I'm not even talking about multiway pots. The bot has to know how to correctly respond to random donks in all situations, crazy bets sizes, etc. It's definitely doable, but the bot definitely wouldn't be able to play any kind of GTO strategy then. So, if I think I'm playing a good strategy, I have no fear at all about the bot. Still, there's the argument that it's taking money away from fish.
But, just haven't seen any evidence of bots in this pool at all so not worried.

So, took a break to play 50NL on Global Poker and immediately went on a 30 buy-in upswing, then went on a 30 buy-in downswing on Global Poker with the most insane stretch of hands. Stuff I didn't think was possible. So back playing 25NL on ACR and am currently on the greatest sun-run I've ever been on. I'll post a complete hand update soon at around 150K hands played. (problem is the other hand data is on another computer).
Hows the player pool on ACR?
I moved from US to London recently, but I remember ACR 25Blitz being a ghost town even just a year ago.
Pool is pretty soft at 25NL. A few decent players and the rest are pretty bad. It wasn't running until a couple months ago when 10NL blitz stopped running.
Curious what you think of the 25NL blitz pool lately. Seems a lot more difficult, all the 50 players are in it now. Premiums rarely get paid. I think a lot of them don't get it all in without KK or AA tbh. 200NL seemed easier to me, no joke.
