I fact checked timesofINDIA. It's not the best source but it's also not the worst.

It's timesofINDIA. It's a terrible source. The fact the author can't tell the difference between a put option and a short says it all. I bet you don't know the difference either so maybe that's why this seems so credible to you.

And to the bolded. I am trying to understand the benefits of each, I don't just blindly accept tradition like you.

No you're trying to reinvent the wheel. They're both fine metrics, not very hard to understand and both serve their purpose.

No you're trying to reinvent the wheel. They're both fine metrics, not very hard to understand and both serve their purpose.

You keep talking in generalities, a tell tale sign of someone that doesn't know what he is talking about.

It's game dependent, you don't just use both metrics without thinking about why you are using them.

BB/100 is a better metric for 6max. EVbb is a better metric for HU.

If we use an extreme example, EVbb for a 9 handed game would be a terrible metric to use when you have BB/100.

Check the Theory thread.

Lol you called me out for posting bb/100 without evbb/100 in the bodog thread. I think it's common practice to just use bb/100 unless evbb is higher then we use that, read about it in TimesOfIndia.

Jokes aside, the theory thread is interesting. Collusion seems to be the biggest factor; none of the bunching or card removal effects seem intuitively large enough to make much of a difference, but would be curious to see the math.

You're so hilariously dense it's entertaining.

Just used a lot more words to explain what I said in 4 words.

No thank you. No need to watch you flail about and fail like you usually do.

Have a good day buddy.

I'm trying to learn this node since these blitz games play deeper.

How does 25b feel to you? I've played a bit just to get reps in and I'm pretty sure my winrate there is lower than at 500nl on US sites

Okay let's get back on track.

We need to be raising more than theory in this spot. There is a huge overfold for BF in this formation. (warning....not solver approved!).

Not many hands yet but what I am noticing is we need to bluff catch less and bluff more. A lot of these regs have 45WWSF or so.

It's more fun for me because I prefer playing against regs, it's too bad there is no 50b or 100b. I think I'll go from 25b to 200b.

I'll post a 5k hand update either today or tomorrow.

wrt to US sites like fenced in sites? Those sites are the softest in the world so I think that might be an accurate comparison.

from what I've seen 500nl on US sites plays like 50nl on ROW sites so that would make sense. And 25b basically has the same regs as 50b when it ran so it's pretty analagous.

Non intuitive turn spot. It's even harder because it's UTGvsBB and no one studies that node.

We don't bet turn with A5 even though we picked up equity. It's because if we X we can now call a bigger turn bet but if we just had a naked Ace high FD we get put in a 0EV turn spot. I checked because my opponent was a nit but we ended up learning something cool.

Are TT and JTdd calling flop?

by newguyhere

Are TT and JTdd calling flop?

It's interesting because I think population will be more likely to call TT OTF than a hand like 77/88 when it should be the opposite. TT should always be folded because you block ATs.

So yeah I can get on board with us folding out TT OTT even though population shouldn't have it. JTs is always calling flop and I think high frequency turn.

Maxim that should be followed:

1. When you play against good regs, range becomes more important than bet size

2. When you play against fish, bet size becomes more important than range
