I don't like helping someone I dislike but like c'mon. Why are you still playing only on the site where:a) there's pretty blatant collusion that you postb) it's slow hands/hrc) there's no rbd) you can't properly game selectIs there some reason you'd like to not get spilled public as to why you're desperately holding onto ignition in 2025?

thats what ive been doing - minus coin. havent really studied ante preflop so just CBA. im everywhere though dont worry! 😃 bovada is still good my all in ev is high and wr has always been high there despite the ongoing cheating. **** happens just gotta push thru the downswing its standard unfortunately. also definetly wasnt playing well was in an upstuck mindset

Why dont u work on ur redline.

allin ev doesn't become accurate when one player knows what cards is left in the deck.

This.

The best player I know (Top 3, arguably #1 6m in the world right now) had his lowest wr on ignition 2k, lower than his 5k+ acr/coin wrs.
Another decent hs reg I know who's won give or take 5/100 at 1k and 2k on acr/coin/betonline is only losing on ignition and "very below ev"
It's been a LONG time since I've seen any actual good player recommending ignition.

Blatantly obvious cheating, low hands/hr, imprecise game selection, no rakeback, why are we still playing it exactly? It's outdated. I believe most players are WAY too slow to adapt their pools that they're playing in.

Ignition has steadily fallen from S tier to F tier from pre-2020 to now imo. If you disagree and wish to keep playing there, best of luck. I also choose to vote w/ my wallet, hoping enough people quit ignition so they actually do something about the games (never once received a security refund), maybe actually care about the players and add RB/QoL features if enough ppl quit en masse.

who is this top 3 player?

I appreciate where youre coming from but I disagree. I think it's still one of the better sites despite the clear and blatant cheating (that is happening on every major site btw). Sure you can argue its worse on bovada but the site also comes with way worse players (and also i do get RB there btw). ACR is just a bunch of nittier bad regs, same with BOL games mostly run around fish in a higher rake environment, and coin is obsessed with antes. I do appreciate where youre coming from dont get me wrong i just think I'm gonna keep it in my pool of games while not keeping it my only site like I used to to get a better understanding of where I'm going wrong the past couple of months (comparing hands/wr over sites) to get some real data then I'll make a proper decision. And yeah im also curious who this top 3 player is.

Why dont u work on ur redline.

Its hard to redline in these games fam, a lot of the pots are multiway and people just dont fold (on bovada atleast). Im trying to work on again getting better at understanding which spots people fold. I think along the line of the past couple of months, or this year atleast, I've been a little lazy thinking I don't need to keep studying or i can watch YT while playing mid stakes or stay distracted which isnt what got me to where I was when i was winning at a high WR. so im definetly going to get back in the lab, but more for the basics rather than the super indepth spots that dont really matter. That being said, it is something im working on despite your troll comment

Quick little april update

Subbed!

all the hands i have to review tomorrow :morningafter: shoutout to the limper that kept ****ing me

glimmer of hope that im not washed in the 5/10 streets rip 2/5 wr

Getting people to fold isn't the only way to improve your redline. A better way to improve might be finding spots you build a big pot on flop/turn only to end up folding river.

thats a good point something to think about for sure. thanks

feels like im playing well just got to stay locked in and not revert to bad habits esp when upstuck/comfortable / bluffing too much. also can my run good come alrdy still feels like im running significantly below ev past 2-3 months just in card distribution/coolers (quads over nut boats etc etc).

im afraid ive become what ive feared. a 2bb wr player. no but for real, it was good to put in decent volume this month. obviously not happy with the results but we're going to keep at it. Thinking back to the 6 fig months , and you know what, they werent that long ago. I just have to stay focused, discplined, and minimize losses during this stretch. I started journaling to keep tracking of my emotions during the day. My neck is slowly getting better (still a lot of pain every day but I'm managing with pain meds / strengthening exercises). Atleast i'm able to sit at my desk setup for 6h+ now; hence the volume. This is across a couple of sites, mostly on bovada but mixed in some acr and bol action when i didnt have 4 on bodog. Im curious to see how I perform next month. That's all for now thanks guys

oh also small gym update- down 20 pounds. eating at 1700 cals/day. i was 223 at peak and im at 202 rn. Hopefully going to be 190/185 by summer. Also lifting 3-4 times a week definetly starting to look more toned now which is nice. Being fat sucks i do not recommend. get fit asap

"Being fat sucks i do not recommend. get fit asap "

As someone who spent his 20s taking my fitness very seriously, becoming fat at the start of my 30s has been completely eye-opening. You can feel the difference in how people interact with you quite saliently.

Trying to kick the bad eating habits I developed.... well... I developed those when I was fit, but I would work out 1.5-2 hours per day, so it didn't really matter. I stopped working out though... and YiKeS, it happened fast.

Never too late to start again. Just build good eating habits there’s so much good content out there nowadays there’s no excuses tbh. And yeah regarding the way people treat you it’s just not even fathomable how much better life is when you’re fit looking. You get into so many doors that wouldn’t otherwise be open not even only w girls just socially. People smile at you more and pay more attention to you just naturally. What works for me is very low carb high protein/ fat. Mostly doing steaks and seafood during day (frozen shrimp os a back) and then butter olive oil avocado as my fats with some high fiber vegetables I’m barely even hungry anymore

How's the grind treating you? We used to play together often, but I don't think we share tables/sites anymore.

Curious how you would rank the following 4 sites for mid-stakes PLO: ACR, Coin, Bovada and Betonline. Mostly care about which has the best games, but software, rb/rewards, etc. also matter.

clearly ACR.

lowest rake . 27% rake back . Many deposit options an withdrawal. Clean smooth software. Lots of Americans play there and they suck . Lots of PLO action and bomb pots

update?

up!

I will post an update eventually just have been too lazy to write something up given how much time has passed since my last post
