Hi, ITT I want to keep track of my results over 2025. Currently my roll is at 4.2k I play 50 PLO, 4, 5 and 6 card, maybe
Completed the 10k downswing today ... just on tilt... may change where I live (move from dads to moms house) maybe that will make me play better... I'm just on tilt and playing bad... better not throw good money after bad! ok time to take a break I guess... thanks DKB

I'm going to stick to PLO4 tournaments for a while. At least there I feel like I know what I'm doing. In the 6 card I recently just feel lost and on tilt.

play 5 tables of 100PLO5 and was up a little bit. Then played 1000PLO4 and also won a bit, was playing quite aggro and well... I'm shopping around a bit looking for love, after my love 500PLO6 took her love away. 😉 I even played NLHE today, at 2NL and 5NL but that's a weekly home game...

lost a big pot at 500PLO6, was 49% 3way but my set didn't hold... feels like I'm on the bad side of variance now... I really don't want to drop below 50k :'( tomorrow going to play some tourneys I guess...

I'm considering cashing out 50k and playing small stakes tourneys to run it up again... what do you guys think...
I played 500PLO6 today, and some 200, but I really don't want to fall under 50k, so I'm kind of playing scared a bit... I don't really know what's going on in the 6 card, am I just experiencing bad variance, I ran under EV today:
and my roll is at 51064... what am I to do... 50k feels like 0 to me right now... maybe if I drop below 50 I can start winning again, take the pressure off, or maybe I'm too focused, irrationally, on the number...
Dont do that. Unless u think ur actually -ev in the game.
Ur brain is fried atm because of this downswing. 6card variance is mega ****ed up, like 300bb/100 std dev iirc.
Just play like plo200 or plo500/1k in the best games for a little bit while ur confidence is lower. Plus mtts ofc.
I played a bunch today, got my roll up to 52k, but then lost a bunch again, now roll is at 51179... I gave myself a cooling off period of 72h... so I can't play the next couple of days... seems like a good idea before I lose more... just not playing my best game at all, so hopefully a forced break will give me a fresh approach when I start again... peace out for a couple of days

Are you chasing losses? If so just be aware its a sign of gambling addiction if you are. Avoid that thinking. if you go under 50k don't try and get back over 50k but just make +ev bets.
I wasn't really chasing my losses, just too highly loss averse to play properly... Feels okay to take a break, even though I am thinking about 6 card a lot... I think I'm going to play really well when I return tomorrow night...
