Hi, ITT I want to keep track of my results over 2025. Currently my roll is at 4.2k I play 50 PLO, 4, 5 and 6 card, maybe
lost a bit then won a bit then lost quite a bit, roll at 6683
I was playing mostly 6 card PLO today and some 5 card... Right now I feel like I'm not beating the 6 card at all. Maybe I'm also not running great, but I feel like I don't understand the game that well... I also play too loose... Might be an idea to not play 6 card anymore unless there are real big fish™ playing... or like egspongi suggested, focus on 5 card alone... ALthough I don't think my edge is that big in 5 card either... Maybe stick to tournaments, they have been going well lately... Although there are downsides to tournaments as well, like not setting my own schedule... Hmmmm,,, decisions...

Rake and skill wise tourneys Seem to be the way to go imo, try it for a month, aint much to be lost
Omaha mtt fields are Weak and small so Variance shouldnt be too big
I was playing 100 and 200PLO6 these days, had a winning session yesterday... Also popped the Golden Whale 01 for 1200$, Now I'm Platinum Whale, so straight 50% rakeback. Of course it isn't 50% because of the PVI bs that GG uses, but still nice to get a weekly rakeback instead of having to grind for a spin so much. Still need to grind 120k points monthly to maintain Platinum...

with regards to specializing in one game.. I could do tourneys, but bubbles are so stressful. To me it's as stressfull as getting a big 400bb pot in on a flip, but extended over multiple hands. In some of these small fields the bubbles can last really long, very stressful. Tournaments require a lot more concentration than cashgames... Going to grind a big sunday coming sunday though... I think I want to keep playing both cash and tourneys though... We'll see.. I've been practicing game selection quite well in the cash game streets too.

I'll have to consider it.. I'm not too stoked on sharing too much of my own thought processes, in case some of my competition reads along. Not sure if that's happening currently. I do study a bit with the PLO mastermind sometimes, that helps in improving my game.
Got my roll a little bit above 9k yesterday, lost almost a k today but then won half of it back again: roll 8499
played exclusively 100 and 200PLO6
took a shot at 200PLO6 today, it didn't go well. Roll 7738... Going to play a lot of tournaments this afternoon...
Still waiting on the refunds from the sunday debacle, I was at a final table of the 550Y tournament when it happened, so expecting 600$ or something in refunds, won a bit in the 100PLO6, then lost a bit... entered the 150$ KSOP bounty tournament twice, busted twice on badly played hands... Just kind of tired and not playing optimally... roll 7323
well, they finally payed out the tournaments, including a 750ish prize for the final table of the 550Y bounty builder, furthermore played a bit of 6 card and a little 5 card, including a 5 card tourney that I entered 5 times, and cashed for 2 buyins

played a lot of 100PLO6 today, first on the leaderboard, so that's nice... Didn't run good, played OK, no big mistakes I think
