At the bottom of the ocean he aims for the stars...
Hello, I'm a taran and I want to learn how to play PLO.
This is my journal, here I want to record my progress and write down new goals for the new week.
My long term goals are
1. Learn pre flop (at least 85% in gto trainer to be able to move on to the next spot)
2. Work through PLO from the ground up and make a postflop game plan.
3. Play a million hands on plo25 and achieve the highest winrate possible for me.
Additionally, work on my mindset at least once a week. (I'm currently reading the mental game of poker)
Week 1
Watch theory video + make notes
Reach 85% after 500 hands in plo trainer for each spot to be able to move on to the next spot.
RFI
1.UTG
2.MP
3.CO
4.BTN
5.SB
Action plan
The allocated time for learning is 4 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
Sunday - read my notes
I start tomorrow
I will let you know how I am doing and whether I managed to achieve my goal for a week faster or if I need to extend it.

Hey mate, good luck on your goals!
Some suggestions to consider:
- Inverse your RFI list - in the context of improving your PF RFI ranges, I think prioritising the most frequent situations in looser range formations (BvB, btn v blinds) etc. would likely yield you the most short term improvement as you are more likely to encounter them relative to latter positions
- Consider the lack of a need to commit to a playing 1m hands at a particular stake before having to move up or be able to substantiate that you have a high probability of beating a stake. There's generally no need to set camp at a stake unless its a BR issue (which can potentially affect your mental game).
