GGpoker Myths and Legends
Hello!
Been:
- playing 100z (mainly) and reg tables at PokerStars with a very good results
- PIOsolver 'grinder'
Heard that:
- GGpoker 'rush and cash' is almost unbeatable due to rake
Now:
- switched to GGpoker but still PokerStars enthusiast
- been grinding 50nl, now moved to 100nl
- verified GGpoker games 'what they say'. And again 'you will never know till you try'

I know this is '**** sample'. I spewed a bunch at 50nl rnc and don't think I hit my 'run good' though this definetely wasn't the worst one. I still have to 'learn' this pokersite.
Thoughts:
- should have been at least 5bbEV winner at this sample (If I exactly knew what to expect which is impossible - 'try on you own')
- soft pools and good traffic 24/7
- high rake BUT decent rewards/promos
Expectations:
- 5bbEV winrate at 100nl rnc
- grinding solid volume (100k hands +/month)
What do you think about expectations? Maybe these are delusions?
Life:
- recently been an enthusiast of self-improvement in every area:
a) physically - lost 25kgs and reached my wanted weight
b) professional - grinding PIOsolver and catching 'AHA moments"
c) psychological - in general - what makes one to do something/think about sth in a specific way
d) spiritual - big fan of David Hawkins
Till the next time good fellas!

I have no proof, but of the main sites that are still relevant, GG has the nittiest pool, or that is my impression playing there, on stars and bodog. I think it is as nitty as Party was the months I played there. High rake, preflop exploits being less profitable due to the preflop rake, and an overall nitty pool makes it harder to turn a profit.
That PlayItSmart guy, which seems to be a very good player, managed to get 4 bb/100 at 200nl rnc if I'm not mistaken, and he's very exploit oriented, so if you aren't, 5 bb ev, even though at the immediate lower stakes, might be delusional. But GL, I hope you do it and prove me wrong.
Sorry, apparently he did 8 bb/100, forget my logic above 😀
It sounds like you're making solid progress, both in poker and personal growth.
For poker, moving to GGpoker and grinding 100NL is a good step. The 5bb EV winrate at 100NL is an ambitious but achievable goal, especially with your focus on learning the site and improving your game. The rake is definitely something to be aware of, but the soft pools and 24/7 traffic could balance that out.
As for your self-improvement, losing 25kgs and diving into PIOsolver are huge wins. Focusing on both your mental and physical growth will help you keep improving at poker and in life.
Overall, your expectations seem fair, just stay patient and keep adapting as you go. Keep up the grind!
