Avoid Tilt - Low stakes online 100 to 10,000
I just started playing online again after many years off. I did one of these goal threads and it helped me stay focused a bit.
My goal is to go from 100 to 10,000.
Starting at 25nl (can reload bankroll as needed)
I'm pretty sure (I hope anyway) I'm good enough to beat low stakes if I play my normal game and avoid getting too loose because of boredom and frustration.
Wish me luck.

Had a good morning session. Was down 50 early, played well the whole time, ended up 90. I'm trying to figure out how to save some interesting hands to post.

Best of luck, will be following!
Played for a couple hours this morning. I actually was playing well and remaining patient while receiving very few playable hands. But then I got beat by quads which dropped my stack to about 17. Then I went all in 3 ways with J7 and ended up winning against AK AK. I'll take it, but obviously still need to work on tilt/patience.

Big fail today with avoiding tilt and remaining patient. Was all over the place playing super loose. Won a lot, lost a lot. In the end had a big double up with KK to avoid having a big losing day, but I really need discipline (not just a screen name).

Had a solid session, nothing too stupid or out of line. If I start getting inpatient it helps to just force myself to fold a few hands in a row.

Played pretty well, not great, but had a lot of help from the cards tonight. Here is a fun hand (not great play, just worked out this time)

Why are we sat for $40 in a 1/2 game
It wasn't 1/2. I just didn't realize you could enter decimals in pokerscope. I see I can do that now, thanks.
Here's another hand. I've had something similar a few times. I feel like I misplay AK a lot.
Pretty easy session this morning. Ran well and cards basically played themselves.

Another easy one today. There was a crazy person at the table basically just going all in and calling everybody with anything. One of the reasons I like low stakes.
Current BR: 900
Running very well. Started with 25 today, went up to 150, back down to about 30, and then back up to about 250.

Heater over.

Experimenting with more 3 and 4 betting with AK, AQ at times. Still not sure how I feel about it. But today it worked ok.

Very disciplined straightforward session. Played pretty much abc and things worked out as they "should".

Ok, I want to learn from this, I almost didn't post here but the whole point is to keep myself accountable, and hopefully others can benefit as well. I had a few sessions in a row where I played well for a long time, then lost everything on one big stupid call with a draw. I got frustrated and took some shots at 50 and 100nl. I don't want to keep doing that. I'm not in a rush, I don't need this money to pay bills, it's just for fun. I'm hoping that posting this and maybe re reading it will help keep me on track. Just stick to 25nl, play normal, be patient, at this stake big bluffs are not necessary 99% of the time. Also I really really do not want to deposit more.

your $100 to $10k goal is very ambitious. I tried grinding 25NL once and it's incredibly tiring and repetitive, and the downswings are brutal. It’s cool seeing you document the grind so honestly.
Also noticed you’ve been using our hand history recorder—awesome to see! If anything ever feels off or there's something you wish it did differently, feel free to drop a note.
Best of luck—will be following along and rooting for you!
Have had something similar to this a few times recently. Had seen this player call all sorts of crazy hands, I wouldn't necessarily be so aggressive in this spot.
Just played for quite a while, doing very well, playing well, staying patient, then this happens. It's annoying, but at least this time I didn't rebuy and start playing crazy out of frustration, just stopping.

Had a few good sessions. Hoping to keep it going. I need to fold more, even if it's boring.
Current BR: 900
This was a funny hand. Admittedly not super well played on my part, nobody's perfect. I don't think I've ever won in this way.
Had a good session this morning. I really need to stop calling raises with Ax and Kx suited, I think that's my biggest leak right now. Poker can be boring when you're not getting playable hands and don't want to get out of line.

Lost 3 big all in pots. Once with AA, twice with KK. If I keep playing I definitely won't play my A game, today is not my day, time for a break.
Good one this morning. Didn't do anything stupid, a few people bluffed into me with strong hands which helped. Back over 1000, hoping to stay that way.
