Poker in my 40s - Recapturing the Dream or Midlife Crisis

I used to play a lot of poker in my 20s and while I was never a pro at it I kept a record and was a slighlty winning player. Over the years life and career took over and while I didn't ever stop loving poker, I stopped studying it and whatever small edge I had evaporated in this new era of poker. I kept playing and had very mixed results in my 30s. I got much more degen gambly with it and realized I was triyng ot get lucky more than play solid fundemental poker.

Now that I am a little older I really miss being a student of the game. I have decided that instead of a stupid car or trip I wanted my midlife crisis to be a poker renaissance.

I used to play 2/5nl mostly.

I am thinking of starting over at 1/2nl and trying to grind up a bankroll from there. (I have a family and kids now and want to be responsible with the money I allocate to my hobby)

I am from Montreal and came to these forums looking to find people to talk poker with and engage with modern game theory and get advice.
