I’m a passionate poker player currently grinding the NL10 cash games, and I created this space to share my journey, insights, struggles, and wins as I work to move up the stakes.
NL10 can be a tricky level – you’re no longer up against total beginners, but the game still has a lot of recreational players and regulars making key mistakes. It’s the perfect place to build solid fundamentals, develop discipline, and prepare for higher limits.

Weekly Update
Light week: I played almost 8,000 hands and ended with a positive balance. It wasn’t a straight run, there were ups and downs, moments of frustration and comebacks that put me back on track. In the end I took home about €31, averaging €4.50 a day, basically nothing.
What comforts me most is that, statistically, I made the right decisions in all-ins: the gap between real and expected winnings shows there was some bad luck, but the choices were correct. This means the foundation of my game is solid and, in the long run, results should even out.
There’s still work to do in spots that don’t go to showdown: I’m leaving value on the table there, and finding the right balance between aggression and control can make the difference. Overall though, the outcome stays positive: I close the week with confidence and the feeling of being in control of my game.
In the end, this poker week felt like a small marathon: effort, stretches where progress seemed stuck, but also overtakes and final sprints. The numbers are fine, but more important than the money is the sense of having made the right choices, even when luck didn’t cooperate.
The moral? You don’t need to win every hand, just play the important ones well. The rest takes care of itself over time.
I leveled up to NL25. There’s still a lot of work to do, but let’s take the good things I’ve done without focusing on the bad plays and there were a lot of them.
I have the roll for level up at NL50, I have tried to play but I'm scared, I must fix my mindset.

How long time no write here, I’ve stabilized at NL50, but I’m confident I’ll be able to move up to NL100 soon. I’ll leave you with a fun hand.

Looks like the Big Adventures tournament is coming to an end soon. I played a bit and enjoyed the experience.
The final prize, a Maldives trip, will be drawn live from the Top 100 players. I’m wondering if they’ll actually show the whole draw process or just announce the result.
Either way I’ll probably check out the stream.
I leveled up to NL100, Unfortunately, I'm playing less and it took me longer than expected.
I hope to be able to play more and study better to get to 200 by the end of the year.
