The Journey From NLH Tournaments to PLO Cash

Some background, I'm a guy who's in business who has been trying to make the poker dream since i genuinely enjoy the grind and trying to get better. I've studied quite a lot of NLH tournaments trying to build a roll but i feel like you need to be able to sit down for 6+ hours and put a lot of volume of tournaments especially at the micros to make it worth it but i decided to play some PLO cash one day and I absolutely love the game way more than NLH for some reason and I can make money much more quickly than tournaments. The critical thinking of the outs/equity you have on certain streets and how quick the money gets in makes it more exciting to me.

I started at PLO10 to learn the game and basically not punt thousands away at the beginning and I definitely did punt when i went on tilt and started going all in with terrible equity eg. chase a nut FD with no immediate equity and going up against sets.

Once i decided to choose my spots carefully I realised how profitable this game can be especially with how many fish there are and how badly they punt it off.

I have done some basic study of preflop with my biggest help being the PLO trainer for preflop so understand roughly what kind of hands I can call, 3 bet with so I'm not leaking money preflop.

- One of my biggest changes in my game/learnings + profit is to be aggressive in spots where you have the nuts + redraws (is ideal) eg. top set on a dry board. The fish at these stakes will call you down and give up the river when they don't hit their draws.
- Another important thing I have learnt is table selection, GG has table view so I am constantly scanning the lobby to find players who have a high VPIP (50+) as I find i make the most profit off them when I have a good spot. (but also have to keep reminding myself never to bluff these type of players). My favourite tables are whales who have a constant straddle on and when I have a hand, its sich a nice feeling when i can stack them.
- I got some advice from a friend who has made a living off playing PLO200 to PLO1000 and he told me to start off just being a nit, so right now my strategy is if i don't have anything postflop, don't try to be a hero and bluff people especially multiway, so I am basically some sort of nit at this point

I'm writing this post to document my journey and get some advice on where I should focus on my studying next. I find that postflop play is quite important but right now I am just a nit who is running good so I want to be able to learn where I can find more spots to bluff people out of the pot and also hone down on when I can get the money in.

Here is my graph, only around 17.5k hand so far since Aug 27. 4 tabling on GG and Pokerstars. I like to play 1 table of PLO5 and 2 tables of PLO4 on GG and 1 table on Pokerstars (reg tables). As I was learning the game there was a period where i started punting but I'm becoming much more disciplined now

Also I play a couple of PLO tournaments on Pokerstars every now and then and got 2nd in a $5.50 PKO one and it's crazy how soft some of these tournaments are.
I will try to post every few days so any advice/comments is appreciated!

Had a really good session today, definitely running hot in some all ins but slowly getting better at choosing my spots to get the money in although I am definitely punting off still a little bit.
